Questions & Answers

Is there any primer I can use on this paint that is not lacquer or enamel?

Brush the plastic first. If you are using a flat acrylic, make sure it is clean. In case you want to spray with an acrylic primer, Humbrol makes one.

How much does this need to be thinned ?

Brushing is not for airbrushing, rather use Tamiya thinner for airbrushing.

What is the adhesion to ABS plastic like?

Greetings, I believe that this will work perfectly however, at this price - a hobby paint which is used for miniatures and hobby materials - it is a bit steep. If I had to suggest something, I would opt for a rustoleum plastic small container for a significantly cheaper price and much In my opinion, it will work best if the surface is not too shiny and smooth. You might want to roughen it up a bit so the paint will stick It might be of use to you. I would like to thank you for your kind words, Robert

Mr. I am trying to find an alternative to him. Its model recommends hobby colors (which my Hasegawa shimakaze model refers to). What does this work like in comparison to Mr. Is it red?

It is easy to clean the Tamiya paintbrush by adding water when I use it. Clean up isn't that difficult when it comes to the paint. It is not the case with Mr. Color paints. In a short time, they dry in the brush and cannot be removed, basically ruining the brush.

I would not use this for my purposes
3/5

My needs are not met by this. br>* I need this to create a tinted "gloss" A brush has to be used to apply it, so it dries quickly. I don't think it is a "tinted" gloss, it really is.

That's a pretty good paint! When I air brush it, I find that it only dries quickly.

Fast delivery and great product, I used it on a vintage teddy bear to refurbish it, it stuck to the soft plastic and dried quickly.
