As most people seem to do for face-lifts, I purchased this. ups, and even after three coats on my doll's lips, it looked more satin or simi- gloss. I finally settled on Liquitex gloss medium, which is a gleaming finish.
This was purchased to add some gloss to my bjd's lips, and it worked flawlessly. It was less work than spraying the matte because all I had to do was brush it on a little and the results were perfect. br>br>Don't mutter about it, and so on.
For my model's eyes, mouths, and nostrils, I use this to create a wet or glossy effect. (The most common models are dinosaurs and horses. ) It's perfect, and it really brings the eyes to life. br>***I used this on finished and sealed models*** A little goes a long way, so don't dunk your brush in it. It dries hard, and I haven't noticed any cracking or scuffing, so it appears to be long-lasting. To be safe, I recommend letting it dry overnight, especially if you're using it on claws or hooves.
It worked well, but didn't have the sheen I desired. Also, KEEP YOUR HEALTH IN MIND: If you have a habit of putting your brushes in your mouth, make sure you use a separate brush for this.
This is a clear that I really like. To make it more glossy, I've discovered that if you airbrush, you need to reduce the amount of thinner used. You might want to get some rubbing compound and give it a good buffing. It resembles a car's clear coat in appearance.
It didn't shrink, wrinkle, or crack when it dried, which was one of my favorite aspects of it. All you have to do is be extra cautious about keeping your work area and tools clean. It's very easy for dust to get into this. Because this substance is toxic, it has a distinct odor. However, I do not believe it is overly strong.
This clear coat is fantastic. To achieve a better surface finish, I would use more thinner than you would normally. It also adds a bit of shine and darkens the colors, but it's not overpowering.
This gloss is ideal for repainting dolls. To achieve the best shiny wet-look, I use it on my eyes and lips. the appearance of the surface It takes at least 3 to 4 thin coats to achieve the level of shine I prefer, and it has a strong odor that isn't unbearable.
