Tamiya metallic gray is a good match for steel and can be weathered easily because it has a higher metallic content than other brands I've used. It takes less thinner to spray than Vallejo and only slightly more than Model Master, making the larger tub a good value.
While my laptop was in their shop for service repairs, an Acer service technician made a paint chip on it. So I bought this color and some silver and mixed them together to make a color that matched the metal grey color of my laptop.
Durable and quick to dry.
Tamiya's US Army M10 Tank Destroyer has excellent paint coverage and color. I use Tamiya paints extensively for my US German Russian tanks and trucks.
We had a few small chips in the center console, as well as a couple larger ones from the back. This item performed admirably. You can't tell the smaller chips have been touched up at all. The larger one has a slightly different light reflection but overall looks 100% better than the smaller one.

Great product, and I like how Tamiya codes all of their colors so you can be sure you're getting the same shade. I've never had a problem with paint drying out like I have with other brands, and their containers are ideal.
