Questions & Answers
The short answer is no, because it lacks some of the red that you'd find in IO. This is the most similar to the Associated RC10 orange box art.
Gloss
I'm not sure, but I believe that is the case!
It doesn't have to be backed, but white or silver will make it stand out more, while black will make it darker. There's also more protection, so it won't scratch as easily.

Paint that is of good quality These have been in use for decades. I had hoped for a brighter orange color, but how can you tell in a photo? The inside of the shell is a clear polycarbonate shell with four light coats of paint, cleaned with a clean paper towel and mineral spirits before painting. Prior to beginning, I double-checked that it was completely dry. The coat is fantastic, and I'm very happy with it.
Then add PS- to the end of it. 7. Apply a final coat of PS-II to protect your work. The end result is almost flawless.
The color is ideal.
The paint can sprayed beautifully after being soaked in warm water for 15 minutes. I was looking for a specific kind of private orange, and this was it. (To make the General Lee design, I painted a ProLine 1/10 Chevy short course body bright orange and topped it with a rebel sticker. ).
It appeals to my tastes. The spray that the Tamils use is fantastic.
The colors in the picture are an exact match.
It appears to stick to the poly shell quite well. I used this to cover up stock body graphics painting on the outside; it was enough to physically cover the outside, but I probably should have sprayed a black base layer because some of the stock graphics are visible through paint without it.
It appears to be overpriced for such a small can, which arrived dented.
