Sure, why not? The paint is completely oblivious to the game in progress.
Any acrylic craft paints, according to my understanding, can be used for airbrushing, but they are typically too thick to use straight from the bottle. It should work if you thin it out with a drop of thinner at a time until it reaches the consistency of skim milk or thinner. Please keep in mind that the results may not be as good as they would be with airbrush-specific acrylic paints. That said, as long as you thin it out, this paint should work, but I can't guarantee it. At your own risk, give it a shot.
No, and the features are quite small, but the duergar metal works wonders for mixing darker shades by simply adding lighter metallics.

It's a nice complement to the other sets they've put out. It's important to note that the Drizzt miniature painting tutorial assumes you already have the other two sets. Fantastic miniatures and a fantastic set.
The Army Painter's D was used in conjunction with this set. I began painting miniatures and models with the D Monster Paint Set and the Adventurer's Paint Set. This set comes highly recommended by me to any enthusiast looking for a simple way to start painting D. Miniatures from the D or Pathfinder series. The paints have excellent coverage and consistency, and they are of high quality. If the bottles have been sitting for a while, make sure to give them a good shake before using them.
Even when you consider that the paint bottles are half the size of regular army painter paints, it's a great deal. Due to the fact that eight of the colors are one-of-a-kind. Putrid slime and duergar metal, which are disgusted slime and rough iron from the normal range, are the only non-unique colors. I could have bought it even if the paint wasn't included just for the Drizzt miniature, which is extremely rare; the only other Drizzt miniature I've seen is from the Legend of Drizzt D. D game that isn't as good as the one that is available for free here. A limited-edition mini was sold by GF9 at one point, but it is now unavailable. If you're painting miniatures and are familiar with Drizzt, you won't want to miss this. If you're a beginner, one of the army painter sets would be a good place to start. I'm deducting a star because the paint bottles are half the size, but otherwise this is an excellent purchase.
There isn't even a full set available. "*Recommended to use in conjunction with D," according to the product's information. Paint Set for D Adventurers. ", but even that is an exaggeration. Colors for painting the Drizzt figure are recommended in the instructions, and the majority of them are from the Adventurer's Set. This set got me started painting, and luckily I had some other craft paints on hand to fill in the gaps, but I believe this set should be classified as an Expansion or Advanced set of paints.
The paint included with the set is very thin. I'm a big fan of The Army Painter brand of paints, and I've had a lot of success with them. These are, for some reason, a complete waste of time. This as well as the other D were purchased by me. I'm very dissatisfied with the D sets. It comes in a small bottle, which is to be expected, but it tastes like colored water. Not a good idea.
I either get poorly mixed paints that settle, or it takes far more coats than necessary and isn't as good as the other sets I've purchased. I know some paints are hit or miss, but I've considered almost every one a loss and just keep mixing and hoping for the best. I love the Army Painter brand and I love the D. I. Y. method. I was hoping for D-specific sets, but I ended up with a dud. However, this should not deter you from purchasing them.
So the only issue with the paints was that some of them (about 3 or 4) came unmixed, which meant that the paint was squeezing out its colors, such as the Rigid Leather paint, which came in unmixed red and green. By removing the top of the paint squirter and mixing it with a toothpick, I was able to fix it. Overall, good paints, but the fact that they were unmixed was a bit of a letdown.
Nice color selection and came with a mini to get you started, but beware, whether you role play or not, it is highly addictive. I began with the letter d and worked my way up. d Now that I have a grandson, I'd like to have all of them just to paint with.
