Sorry, but 5G's wall penetration effect isn't as well developed as 2G's. Only 2G can be supported by the camera, not 4G. However, 4G is not the same as 5G.

This is one of the better companies I've come across, as their constant upgrades, product support, and customer service rival or even outperform top tier companies like Nest, GoPro, Ring, and others, and is far superior to Lorex, which I previously owned. Zumimall is constantly updating and upgrading, and I was always concerned about being watched with legacy software, but they update their app more frequently than Apple does software updates. It's a good thing, in my opinion. br>br>I can't recommend this camera or support a company like this enough. Give them your feedback and watch as they implement certain features. I've probably bought over ten units of various models from them over the last five years and given them as gifts to friends and family because this company creates products that are ahead of the market at an affordable price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, SUPPORT COMPANIES LIKE THIS! They are the market leaders where the engineering team is truly concerned with creating better products that consumers want. ZumiMall, I appreciate it.
The camera's optical qualities are excellent, and it performs well in infrared. The robotic pedestal can be controlled by remote. There is a problem with lag. To rotate or tilt the camera, press the appropriate button on your phone display, and the camera considers it for a moment before moving. It usually moves too much, forcing me to back up a little, and zooming is a bit of a pain. The software's overall responsiveness to commands from the user is poor. To do things like run a previously-run report, it usually takes several presses. Because it frequently disregards input commands, it's best to record a clip. It's difficult to figure out how to get into the basic setup to change the sensitivity. I used to be able to find it when I first downloaded the Android app, but I can't seem to find it now. I'd like to see if I can change the alerts so that they don't sound whenever something moves. at any time of the day or night Even though I set it not to alert during the day, it does. It is intelligent enough, according to the manufacturer, to not alert on non-critical events. The movement of people. Despite this, it continues to do so on a regular basis. Throughout the day, my phone sends me unneeded notifications. Overall, the UX (user experience) of this product's software is terrible. It needs to be scrapped in favor of new software that is much more modern, responsive, customizable, and consistent. br>br>*********UPDATE**********
Despite Zumimall's numerous "updates," the user experience remains poor. Nothing seemed to have changed. When I try to play back a recorded alert clip, the phone locks up, completely jeopardizing one of the product's most important security features; I tried it again just now, and when I tried to open a clip, the phone screen went black, and the clip was not displayed. br>br>Here's one for you to consider. I received an e-mail a few weeks after I published the first review. Zumimall sent me an email demanding that I change my mind about their product or "my comment" would be deleted. I'm not aware that a third-party can delete an Amazon comment. It's also a weak attempt at intimidation in the hopes of securing a favorable review. br>br>Amazon is a company that sells books on the internet. This is a bad company that should no longer be allowed to use your e-commerce platform. commerce. br>br>As a result of the company's actions, I'm reducing the number of stars in my review by one. It's raining steadily. br>br>*********SECOND UPDATE**********
The impressive battery is still at three out of five bars, while my camera's WiFi connectivity is at a healthy 92%. The bit rate, however, varies between 0 and 20 KB/s. It's difficult enough to keep it running without pressing the image's 'play' button, let alone aim it. I try to move it left or right by briefly tapping one of the PTZ arrow buttons, but nothing happens. After that, everything comes to a halt. I'll hit 'play' again, only to discover that the camera had moved in any direction it wanted, and at an extreme rate, while I had lost control. Despite the fact that it registers a good Internet connection, it appears that its transceiver is defective. I have a fairly powerful router and modem with speeds of over 700 Mbps as measured by Speedtest. net, and the camera is only about 30 feet away. I don't recommend this lousy product because of the wonky software, data flow issues, lack of 5GHz capability, inability to monitor and control using a PC, and severe problems with clip playback in Android. I'm lowering my rating to one star, cutting my losses, and looking for something better.
I've been using their other fixed outdoor camera with solar panel for over a year and have had no problems with it in the wind, rain, or snow. I decided to give this camera with the ability to pan and tilt a try; it is a true 360-degree camera that can see forward and backwards if mounted on a stick with nothing blocking the back side; the images are crystal clear day and night; and you can choose between SD and HD. For those who are concerned about data usage, the average is - The SD card has a data rate of 20 KB/s, while the HD card has a data rate of 120 KB/s. Most of the time, the SD card is clear enough for me; I have a 128GB Samsung EVO SD card installed, and after one week of recording at the highest 30 second level with the motion detection sensor turned on, it has only depleted 1GB out of the 128 with plenty of activity. I did not connect the optional solar panel charger to this unit, and the five power bars had only depleted by one bar after a week of use. This camera should last for months without needing to be charged at this rate, and I'm not using any of the power-saving features. My other fixed zumimall camera has a solar charger attached and has been near 100% charged for the past year. I like that this camera has the ability to change views with the pan and tilt, and that I can use it anywhere in the world as long as my home wifi is turned on. It was simple to set up; all you had to do was connect to wifi and wait for it to capture an image of your cell phone app. The app is simple to use and includes an optional cloud service, which I chose not to use because the camera and app with SD Card are excellent on their own. I can record videos and images without using the cloud service, and the motion detection function will automatically save images and videos to my SD card while also sending notifications to my phone. I can view both cameras at the same time using the app, and I'll be adding more cameras soon! This camera is absolutely fantastic and well worth the money!.
