The Funlux cameras were my first purchase. After four or five hours of diligently following tech-related instructions, I finally gave up and returned the support pages. To set up the Nest cameras, it took a little longer to get them out of the box and unwrapped. It was as easy as one, two, three, and four. two - scavenge the barcode three – find them in the Nest app, four – connect them to the internet You've got Fi and you're ready to go. The Funlux cameras have a similar setup, but the app is extremely rushed. br>br>I like them because they have a magnetic mount as well as a screw mount and are compatible with my Nest thermostat and doorbell system.

The cameras are fine, but the customer service and self-service are lacking. The account dashboard's service options must be the worst of any subscription-based service. I've witnessed some of the best customer service I've ever seen. Every problem necessitates a 20-minute discussion. For such simple issues as de-icing, a 40-minute phone conversation (or, more accurately, waiting for an agent) is required. activating, then re-activating activating a subscription (why isn't this possible through self-service?) service on the dashboard? ), or re-inventing the wheel? charging a payment method that initially failed (again, why do I have to call customer service to get this done? I have yet to have a customer service interaction that hasn't irritated me to no end, which is amazing because it appears that their problems could be solved very easily by a) hiring more staff, b) better training that staff, and c) integrating more functionality into their dashboard so customers can resolve extremely simple issues on their own. br>br>I've had the camera history feature for over a year, but due to my inability to reach a knowledgeable agent (please, Nest, just recharge the credit card - That's all there is to it; simply re-enter the code. I'm giving up and sticking with free streaming because it's just too frustrating to keep trying to get help. I guess you were successful in convincing me to cancel my $20/month subscription. If I had to do it all over again, I would steer clear of Nest cameras for the simple reason that their customer service is unbearably frustrating.

I'm overjoyed that I purchased these. Because I suffer from PTSD, I was forced to live alone and needed to find a place quickly - The location turned out to be extremely sketchy, and I was pursued by a drugged-out woman who attempted to break in. The door isn't ideal, but with these cameras in place, you could see someone attempting to break in, and I was worried if proof was required. While I'm at work, I can keep an eye on my blind dog to ensure she's safe. I can't emphasize how much more secure I feel with these cameras. I have four of them and purchased the ring version for later use. My only criticism is that the sound quality is poor.
