Questions & Answers

Is it correct that the POE system only works with wireless networks? When it's being viewed from afar, how much bandwidth do you need?

What I'm seeing in Central Texas (Lake Travis) is something I'd like to share. If I'm at home and connected to my router through 802.11, 11 A/B/G/N/AC I am routed through my local ISP to their server, which initiates a broadband session with my system. There will be no use of Telecom Data. If I'm in the heart of Austin and want to check the cameras on my phone, I'll use a WI-FI connection. The situation is the same in FI. If I put my phone in ATT data mode, which means I turn off the WiFi, When you use Wi-Fi and connect to the phone network, the ATT app will show you how much data you're using. The phone-to-server hop is consuming data, but the system-to-their-server connection is still using my home wired connection. The amount of data transmitted is frightening, so make sure you understand this or have an unlimited data plan before using this on a non-WiFi network. I hope this has been of assistance. When accessed remotely, the system is excellent, with crisp images, which explains the size of the bite. It doesn't appear that any compression is being used; instead, there is a single large fat stream of data.

At my house, the garage is the most convenient location for an nvr. Temperature and humidity levels in Florida may play a role. Is it acceptable to do so?

It should be okay as long as the working humidity 10? and the temperature is between - and -. 10°C to 55°C (14°F to 131°F) is the temperature range.

Is it possible to use it at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius?

Hello, these cameras can work in temperatures as low as -55 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures range from 10 to 55 degrees Celsius (14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit).

What resolution does the output have?

Hello, there are a few options, but the highest output resolution is 1920*1080. Thank you.

This is my first time installing, configuring, and maintaining a home video surveillance system. I've been on the job for about 5 months. br>br>Easy to connect and install. br>br>User interface could be better. The user interface for Windows could be better. The user interface on the Mac could be better. The user interface (UI) on smartphones could be better. The user interface for Android devices could be better. br>br>The system as a whole is extremely dependable. The cameras appear to be quite long-lasting. (Be sure to secure them. ) If you don't want to cut Ethernet cable and crimp new ends on them, be prepared to drill at least a 1/2 inch hole through each wall you want to pass through. It's very easy to plug and play. br>br>The ability to watch live or recorded video from a distance with as much clarity as your internet connection allows. This is a great feature. There's even audio. br>br>Motion detection is a little difficult, but it works well. This is not a motion detection system that uses infrared light. It detects motion by comparing adjacent video frames (it recognizes motion when one frame differs from the previous). ) The ability to precisely set up the detection field. While attempting to configure motion detection, email notifications became overwhelming. I've never been able to get Push notifications to work. br>br>I'm not grumbling. Its worth is probably comparable to its price, though I believe the user interface could be improved. It is easier to use. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 11/7/19. Cleaning is required on a regular basis. br>Night vision is hypersensitive, allowing you to detect even the tiniest flying insects with ease. Range will never be as good as you want it to be. br>Playback and recording from a distance work well. There's also a stream of audio. br>Any camera can be temporarily disabled by unplugging it from the camera's power supply. They can be easily reconnected without the need for reconfiguration. br>I'm not an expert, but I would strongly advise a friend or family member to use this system. Ease of use, installation, and user-friendliness are all important factors to consider. interface that is easy to use To be able to report that software updates occur frequently, I need to pay closer attention to software updates. br>br>Update 5/10/2020br>This system is still performing admirably for us. We particularly enjoy remote monitoring via the internet, which includes the ability to remotely capture and record video. After 2 1/2 years of service at our remote residence, there have been no issues to report. This is something I would recommend to a friend.

Video surveillance is something you should consider
5/5

You've found it! This is the one to get if you're looking for a security camera system. I spent hours researching and physically inspecting various systems. Overall, this system stood out among the competition. Advantages: br>br>
- a more detailed image This is extremely critical. The higher the resolution, the more identifying information you can see from a greater distance. The majority of systems are limited to 1080p or 720p resolutions. Reolink goes a step further than that.
- PoE. Because there is only one cable to run for both signal and power back to the recorder, Power over Ethernet allows for a very quick installation. It also means that any holes you need to make in your walls will be considerably smaller.
- The Ethernet cable is of excellent quality, is extremely flexible, and can easily pass through narrow spaces.
- The video feed can be accessed in a variety of ways. It was especially convenient to be able to access the interface and recordings using my laptop/desktop, phone, tablet, or the Reolink recorder, especially when it came time to position the cameras. It was a breeze because I could see the camera view on my phone.
- The motion tracking system is ideal for getting the most out of your recording time while reducing the number of unnecessary recordings and alerts.
- There are 100% other cameras for certain needs that are 100% compatible and just plug in.
- a lot of extra ports for more camerasbr>br>contrary to popular belief, there are a lot of extra ports for more camerasbr>br>contrary to (these are a bit of a stretch)br>- Screws that are used for mounting are prone to stripping. This is an all-too-common issue with screws these days. I strongly advise against using the included screws and instead purchasing a pack of number 6 wood screwsbr>- It's a little tricky to adjust the motion sensitivity. It doesn't take much tinkering to get it right for your needs, so that's not really a complaint. I recommend that you take your time and don't expect to get it right on the first try.
