It certainly ought to. On my side-mounted boxes, I had an older button-style lock set. The old ones didn't lock flush, but the new ones did, and it took less than 30 minutes to install them. They feel more sturdy and appear to be difficult to break through. Baltimore city is a good fit for me.
A lock cylinder and keys are included in the kit. Once the unit is installed, you can re-secure your toolbox with a new cylinder and keys.
Yes, and it is simple to replace.
Yes, they'll work; I have the same toolbox and they've always worked well for me.

When I realized there was no other option but to spend ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS on a simple pair of locks to get my old Weather Guard box working again, I bit the bullet. Then I learn they aren't made in the United States, despite the company's reputation. What an embarrassment, Weather Guard! I'm going to look for a toolbox somewhere else the next time I need one. Yes, they are comfortable and functional. br>br> However, if you're going to build them cheaply, you'll have to price them similarly.
Pros: br>Easy to installbr>Worked perfectlybr>br>Cons: br>Way too expensive - Please, Weathergard, let me off the hook for selling ridiculously overpriced Chinese parts. br>This item is made in China. Drilling through this non-porous material takes no more than 2 minutes with a cordless drill and a 3/8 bit. The lock has been hardened.
Weather guard doesn't seem to mind because it's either get the overpriced locks or have your belongings stolen. They think you can afford a $1000 tool box. My service truck came with the box but no keys. Weather guard, if you can afford $102 for a set of replacement locks, go for it. Stick it to the guys who use your boxes every day and night on the jobsite.
With this in mind, I decided to go with Amazon because of the quick shipping. Regardless of the cost, the installation on my Model 127 was a breeze, and the package included everything I needed (including alcohol wipes to clean the saddle box). The lock protection was improved by the reinforcing plates, and the buttons are far superior to what I had previously on the box. Overall, if you're looking to give an old Weatherguard saddle box a new lease on life, this kit is a must-have.
It's simple and quick to install. The product was exactly as described and functioned as expected. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because of the price; these do not need to be so expensive, and they know that people who can afford a Weather Guard box can also afford the lock replacement cost.
My Weather Guard box came with no keys, so I had to figure out how to open it. This part number for replacing the entire lock was found on the manufacturer's website. The directions are written in plain English and include illustrations. I double-checked my understanding by watching a YouTube video. It took less than ten minutes to complete the process, and the results are identical to the originals. Both provided keys work for both locks, and the locks functioned well in tests. A flathead screwdriver is the only tool you'll need.
A friend gave my son a Weather Guard Toolbox that he didn't have a key for. I bought the lockset and am very pleased with it. Everything you'll need and more was included in the kit. The inside locks were protected by an aluminum guard, the weather seal kept the outside elements out, and new retainer clips were installed. It took me less than 10 minutes to replace everything. For a great toolbox, this is an excellent product. I'm thinking about selling my toolbox and replacing it with a Weather Guard toolbox for my truck. Prime also received it quickly, as is customary. Thank you very much.
It's a huge improvement over the previous versions. It was a simple swap. It's a huge improvement over the previous ones I had. The buttons stay popped in when locked, so it takes some getting used to. Additionally, there is a gratuity available. Cut a few pieces of porcelain tile and glue them to the front and top of the aluminum surround so that thieves drilling the easy access hole to pop it will just dull the bit. Use granite tile if you want to get a better one.
