Master Lock is the brand name for these locks. So, if you take the puck to any locksmith shop, they'll be able to key them all alike for $20 or less per puck. (I'm also a locksmith, F.)
The six holes in the plates in the picture would be used for carriage bolts. The heads of the carriage bolts would have to be ground off in order to remove the mechanism. It would then be simple to pry open the entire lock system. To make it more difficult to remove the plates, you could use construction adhesive or something similar on the back of them when mounting them. You could weld the plates directly to the outside of the building if it's a metal shed. That would raise the bar for this system. You could also weld the carriage bolts to the metal plates while installing it if you're so inclined. Regardless, just using carriage bolts will require grinding to get past this lock.
On this marketplace, we are unable to provide keyed alike units.
It will, in fact.

The price is extremely low! Based on the advice of a locksmith, I replaced the original basic storage building lock with this. PERFECT. The shape and position of two wooden storage units can change over time, and this lock can withstand it. He won't be able to get in unless he brings a serious welding machine or dismantles the door! I didn't realize I needed very specific sized carriage bolts, so bring the box to the hardware store with you and know the thickness of the door so you can get the exact length. I had no problems after laying out the design on the door and marking it before drilling.
It's both impressive and heavy-duty. I think having the cargo bolts welded in place on the back of the plate is a good idea. br> It appears that grinding off rounded heads is the simplest way to defeat them.
DEDICATED PARTS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS KIND OF PRODUCT. br>THE SCREWS THAT GO WITH THE LOCK ARE FOR THIS LOCK ONLY. br>IF I BUY THIS, IT IS BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT OR HAVE TIME TO GO TO A FISCAL STORE AND FIND IT. WHY ARE YOU SELLING THIS LOCK WITHOUT SCREWS? NOT PERMITTED. br>.
A locksmith is one of my friends. After having my tools stolen, I sought his advice on which lock would be the most difficult for thieves to break into. I bought one of the products he recommended. It's huge and beefy. This lock system works wonders as a deterrent. Although it is a little pricey, I was willing to pay for the lock. It's pennies on the dollar compared to what I lost in the theft and the years of wrangling with cops and insurance companies to recoup my losses.
There are a few missing bolts and nuts. Be aware. This is an outstanding product. However, it is lacking in bolts and nuts, which is a drawback. It was simple to put together after purchasing the additional nuts and bolts required. Exceptionally safe.
Steel that is easy to work with. I stripped the square cutouts and turned them into circles by overtightening the stainless steel carriage bolts. So, my carriage bolts are loose, and I'm getting rust streaks from the rusting master lock.
The poor-quality coating was rubbed away, revealing the metal beneath. br>br>You'll want to coat it in weatherproof paint or a clear coat to extend its useful life, but it's not bad.
br>We installed it on a storage shed on our property where we do not currently live because we wanted an extra lock to deter anyone who might try to break into our shed when we are not present. We used high-quality round top bolts with lock washers to install this lock. We felt a lot better about our shed staying secure while we were gone because of the nylock nuts!.
