Questions & Answers

Where can I find instructions on removing the series diverter from a Treviso 26 series side spray unit?

untwist the hose connection fittings from the diverter tee, push the hose connections towards the tee and hold the plastic collet in place while you pull on the connection fittings. With pliers, remove the slide clip from the tee and pull it down off the

Where can I find the diverter in this part? Would it be possible for me to purchase a separate diverter to go in the diverter if not?

These parts should be included in your order. If your low flow issue is resolved, then you should be good to go. As a result of mineral buildup, the valve restricts water flow to the sprayer rather than to the bucket. Apparently, the spout was stuck. *br>When it gets stuck, it cannot move. The battery can easily be replaced. In case of doubt, you can check out YouTube.

How do we determine if an o ring needs to be sized?

Please excuse me for not understanding why you are sizing up the organization I, too, am not sure why you would have to do this. It ringed. The replacement of the diverter did restore water flow for which I was desperate. The amount of money doubled and I felt foolish for not recognizing it

When you want the clip to return to its rightful place, how do you do it?

In order to insert this over the male extension, you will find 2 grooves on each side. In order for this part to fit into the grooves on the male extension, the gaps on its sides must match. Slide the clip over the slots and over the grooves (90 degrees to the part) until it is seated. As soon as you sit down, it will click. You can't easily pull yourself out of a seated position once you sit down. The clip is in the center of the part (the rounded portion of the clip is in the center of the part.) This is extremely difficult to do under a sink since you cannot see or have much If the clip does not seat firmly, you might have to try more than once. As soon as you THINK it is in place, turn on the water and be prepared to turn it off quickly if it is not in place as you may not have it A leak in the cabinet will result if the cabinet is not sealed correctly. The more you turn off quickly, the less you consume.

It was taking the old diverter out that was problematic. As you can see, we did what we said. This is a short story about With this device, we can replace our Mariella faucet for a small fraction of what it would cost if we replaced the entire sink set. Here is a longer version of the sentence. There was probably something like 10 years old in our Marielle faucet. It took a long time for the water pressure to increase. However, we were not able to get the faucet to work after flushing everything. All our needs are now being met by the sprayer. We sometimes get a problem where the sprayer sticks on and we are sweeping the floor. The lube helps for about a week or two at a time. I hate it. Despite this, we were able to identify the diverter that was causing the pressure to rise. Pfister specks are a good place to look. It's a black version of what we had before, but it had been white.

The trouble was taking off the old one. As a result, we did the following. THINK ABOUT TURNING OFF THE HOT and COLD WATER VALVES FIRST. To open the cabinet, we used the drawer To remove the diverter, use a strong screwdriver and a lot of pressure to remove the metal clip. By doing so, the diverter on the faucet above will be released. As for the piece that connects to the handle, it has been designed so that as you pull the diverter out, you push the plastic piece toward the hose. The way we pushed the plastic into the pit was with the help of a flathead screwdriver and a wrench. The tool that helped the most might not have been the most effective. I didn't expect it to work, but it did. Sooner or later. With the diverter hose only attached at its bottom, now the hose only diverted water from it. In this way, we were able to pull out the diverter from under the sink and see what we needed to do. To open the bottom opening, the round plastic piece pushes into the diverter and the metal tube for the sprayer comes out (from the opposite side as There was, however, a crack in our round piece. The problem was solved after we tried several different approaches. The top 2/3 of the diverter at the narrow point was carefully sawn off with a manual hacksaw using a manual hacksaw. Once the metal tube has been cut off (from either side), 2 diagonal cuts have been made until the stub splits off. In order to reinstall, first wipe off any crud or plastic debris. Once you have removed all of the debris, place the metal clip into the top slots on Please remove the clip for the moment. Attach the sprayer tube/hose to the new diverter by pushing the bottom of the new diverter onto it. The next step is to put the new o- The new diverter is constructed with a RING in the top. You will need to push the diverter up into the faucet's underside. Aside from the handle mechanism, position it so that the side post faces it. The metal clip needs to be Put serious pressure on the elbow of the clip (I used the groove on the side of my screwdriver handle to do so) Make sure that the diverter is positioned properly until the clip is inserted. You do get the impression that it slides in if you are careful about the positioning. Next, press the tube for the handle onto the side post. Make sure there are no leaks under the sink, then turn on the cold water valve. Make sure that there are no leaks and turn on the faucet Repeat the process with hot water if it was good. At each valve, we had a few drips. By turning each of them all the way on, the problem was fixed. In the end, the cracked plastic took too much time, so we didn't get them fixed until much later Is assembly (12 hours?) required. Nevertheless, it was well worth the effort. Our bodies are trying to adapt to the influx of so much water now!.

The price of the Treviso 26 series stainless steel is The Lord is great! Praise the Lord
5/5

find it extremely hard to believe the fix is so easy. My new house had one sink with low water pressure, the kitchen sink (price pfister treviso 26 series stainless steel). I was so mad at the seller, and even a plumber (who had to come for a different reason) felt confused about what to do. My plumber said "well, you can pay me $150 to take your sink apart and figure it out," and I said, heck no. So, I looked up the problem online (and called Price Pfister), and thank the Lord, other people were having the same problem, too. The water was turned off, I watched a video on how to unplug the old one, hooked it up and great water pressure! I couldn't figure out what to do with my sink. There had never been such a level of pressure on it. Thus, this thing will work. While playing it started singing "a whole new world" So yeah, I think it'll work.

Are you experiencing low pressure at the faucet? I found a solution to the problem! It was my last hope of fixing the low pressure kitchen sink that I bought this diverter
5/5

Despite replacing all the other components, I was not able to fix the problem. Only a pair of pliers was needed for this piece to be installed, as the licking clip had to be removed. Quick disconnects make the installation easy, and the water was up and running in under five minutes. * So when you're having trouble with low water pressure in your kitchen sink, try this first. It's a cheap and quick fix that will likely fix the issue.

Resulted in success
5/5

It hasn't worked on the faucet even since we've owned the house, and the spray hose has never worked. The "plumber" told us we would have to live with it, because the supply lines were so When the low supply turned into a trickle, I had to take apart the faucet and noticed this part. Once the original faucet was cleaned, it opened much better, but had to run at a trickle until it was in the right position. This part is in good working order and the faucet AND spray nozzle both work!.

The process took about two A new one was purchased on December 10th, 2018, installed and found that it was even more defective
3/5

It actually worked for about 60 days after I ordered a replacement on Dec 13, 2018. As soon as I get the third one, I will order another The Pfister is just a Pfister and that is why it is water hard enough to build up calcium. Considering the cost of a $9 facet, I would hate to throw away a $250 one. A refund was issued to me by Amazon for the $00 part. takes a lot of effort to get under the sink to replace it.

Everything worked as it should have
5/5

when I tried to use the sprayer, the water flow stopped. Until you turned off the faucet and waited a few seconds, the problem would not resolve itself. After ordering the part from Prime, it arrived in a few days, so we left the sink disassembled while waiting for the new part. Now it works again. Our options for the part were limited because it was a weekend, as well as it was not easy to find at local big box stores.

The trick to replacing it is easy once you know how
5/5

A couple of tools make the job much easier, allowing for an easy replacement within minutes. crescent wrench and needle-nose Pulling on the hose and depressing a small locking ring simultaneously relieves old unit of its weight. I depressed the ring with the jaws of a crescent wrench instead of using my fingernails alone as fingers proved to be a bit tricky. You can easily remove the old hose by aligning the jaws of the wrench so that they loosely fit over the hose, then press them against the locking ring to depress until they release. In order to pull and install a locking spring, needle nose pliers were used. The installer might be able to install it without tools if he or she has good dexterity and finger strength.

A $10 investment that will benefit you throughout your life
5/5

A couple of days before Thanksgiving, I noticed that the water pressure in my kitchen was very low. This part was the root cause of my problem, according to an online research I did. After removing it, I attempted to clean it however, I was not successful. Totally popped that new part in today. For the first time in my life, it actually works. This is the best time to be under pressure! Even more incredible is that you don't even need any tools to carry out this task. Adding $10 to a $200 faucet is not a very good investment.
