I haven't checked, but there isn't a Flow Restrictor of any kind in place.
Thank you so much for your question, dear friends.br> The shower arm diverter valve can operate both the shower head and the hand shower at the same time, but the water flow of each outlet is halved, and your water pressure is affected. I hope this has been of assistance to you. Thanks. Regards, YDmeet br>Sincerely Regards, YDmeet br>
There are no limitations. By diverting the flow from one to the other, the water flow is directed to the shower head and then to the hose connection. The flow is coming through both of them halfway between them. Because the transition is seamless from one to the other, the options are limitless.
There are two G1/2 male water outlets and one G1/2 female water inlet on this unit.

Even with high pressure and high upstream flow available, only a small amount of water flows in the middle setting. Only two small off-center holes are available for the main showerhead flow path. The showerhead pattern is harmed by this asymmetric opening. The side port appears to flow more freely than the showerhead port, and the unit appears to be well-made and chromed. Threads with a high level of accuracy. The controls and swivel move very smoothly with little effort, and there are no leaks. Rubber gaskets and teflon tape were also included. Swivel arm prevents hose kinking while also providing a little extra reach from the same hose. In general, I'm happy.
Design is fantastic. material. The lever is so smooth when used to switch or divert water flow between a fixed shower head and a hand-held shower head, and it's not just because of its beautiful polished appearance. YDMeet, a seller on the plumbing marketplace, has far and away made the best water diverter. And it was thanks to Amazon that I was able to do so without having to waste time looking through the major hardware stores. that have previously purchased and sold disappointing water diverters, and will be purchasing this item as a gift so that family and friends can see how cool this product works. br>I'd like to express my gratitude to YDMeet. Amazon).
Products frequently lack quality, logic, and imagination. br>I'm a senior with severe Osteo Arthritis in my left hand. br>I've had shower diverters for most of my life, and the one I had before this was extremely difficult to turn to a different position. It was on the left side and necessitated a great deal of effort. br>This one could be rotated 180 degrees to put the control on the right side and the hand shower hose on the left, as well as facing down the hand shower outlet. It also has a control lever that requires only a tenth of the force. br>Thanks to Amazon's generous return policy, I was able to buy and return a number of other books until I found this one.
We used to have a hand-held shower head that we liked. However, it cracked, and we had to replace it with a fixed head, which worked well - However, it failed to clean some difficult-to-reach body parts. br>br>So we started looking into hand-helds again, but in the meantime, we've been using a soap shelf that hangs from the shower pipe that extends from the wall, and all of the hand-helds had hoses that went straight into the soap shelf. br>br>The right-angle right-angle right-angle right-angle right-angle right-angle right-angle right-angle right This diverter's side features an angle elbow that solves the problem. It can direct the hose in any direction (straight down is good for me). Because the elbow swivels freely, you may want to look for something else if you need it to be stiff. br>br>It appears that this diverter is of exceptional quality. Solid metal with a high-quality finish. Furthermore, the lever valve is extremely smooth, with no stiffness or jerkiness. The valve, on the other hand, is not a shut-off valve. Instead, water is directed out of either threaded end, which would be nice. br>br> So I'm not going to use that lever because I only want the water to exit the elbow and not inline. br>br>Two washers are included. I couldn't use one with a hex nut that screws onto the shower pipe end because there weren't enough threads to secure it. So I'd like to see that hex nut lengthened by about a quarter-inch. br>br>Also included is Teflon Tape.
The arm on the second showerhead connection is supposed to swivel, so I bought this adapter to make that happen. This is the only one that I've found with this useful feature. I believe the connector was designed to connect to a hose, but I needed something to connect a rain-sprinkler to. showerhead with a unique design br>br>For two minor reasons, I gave this unit four stars instead of five: (1) Instead of simply rotating, the swiveling piece unscrews as it rotates. It can't be fixed, either, because it appears to be designed to move with the weight of whatever it's attached to. I was able to find a position that would keep it in place when facing downward, and it appears to work well for my needs. The nut that attaches to the shower bar is extremely short; I could only see two threads above the washer. br>br>(2) The second reason is that the nut that attaches to the shower bar is extremely short. I used it anyway, and it doesn't appear to leak, so short might be sufficient. br>br>The device is a high-tech device. Without the use of plastic, this is a high-quality component. The water flow control knob is nice and simple to operate. There appears to be no degradation in the flow of water from both shower heads, indicating that there is no flow restrictor present.
Because the orifices inside are so small, they may work well with flow-through systems. Shower heads are limited, but they aren't ideal for those who aren't.
Even better if you smear a little plumber's grease into the moving parts. br>I measured the rate of water flow at over 3 gal/min without a shower head attached. at a pressure of 60 psi in our home The maximum rate set by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for new showerheads. law is 2. In California, the rate is 1 gallon per minute, compared to 5 gallon per minute in other states. This valve can handle 8 gallons per minute, so it's more than adequate. The design has two positioning advantages: br>br> br>1) The shower arm (the pipe that protrudes from the wall) is attached with a free-standing bracket. threaded collar that rotates The main valve fitting can still be rotated to any position once the collar is tightened around the shower arm. The control lever can be placed on the valve's left or right side. When standing outside the shower enclosure, I wanted the lever to be visible. (A collar attachment is not used by other brands. ) Because their valve's body screws directly onto the shower arm, positioning the control lever and side outlet for the handheld shower may be difficult. )br>2) The handheld shower hose outlet can be rotated to any position on this valve. Whether the valve's outlet is on the left or right side, the hose can hang straight down.
The pipe connection tape, a small tool for tightening, and washers were all included in this package! br>It's a one-stop shop for everything!.
