I purchased a GrohSafe valve to use with the cartridge and trim kit and it is working exceptionally well. We even have a Hansgrohe Rainshower handheld spray and are completely satisfied with it. We have a good shower and water savings without thinking twice about it.

I bought two of these so that I wouldn't have to deal with a leaky shower head when the contractor noticed that he couldn't close the knobs on the side completely after he made the rough in but before he finished the remodeling. Now that I know so much about this brand, I am not so convinced I am.

I had the plumber do it for me instead. We are using it in our remodeled bathroom in conjunction with the Concetto valve trim and it works great.
