There are no threads that I can recall. Getting it up and running was very easy.

It's Too Long if it's barely long enough

There is no fit for it. A minimum of 314" and a maximum of 414" is out of the box. A 3 was the best I could do We sweated off the 1230 inch IPS adapter and a coupling to get to the 5/16 inch stub. When the spout was installed on the stub, it left a gap of 14 inches between it and the wall. Because of the discrepancy in the Moen instructions, I didn't want to shorten the stub until that discrepancy is explained and taken care of. Thanks to a WestBrass equivalent tub spout that I ordered, I was able to install the new one without issue.

I ordered it because I was working with a tub that had The installer is very easy to use. If you leave the diverter pipe extra long, you will find that it will be much more durable than most slip on tub spouts. Copper installation A MIP interface is available. A quality product, with outstanding customer service from Moen for any of their products.

Spout that fits in a slip! I am disappointed

This is not an IPS installation. We have returned an item (thankful that Amazon is so easy to return). The feeling of cheapness and lightness was also apparent.
