Questions & Answers

Are fishing reels capable of being used with this lube?

Yes, I certainly expect that to be the case. The oil has a light feel and lubricates well. These don't gum up like reels, and they don't collect dirt and grime. All these things can happen with You should be able to use it!

How well does this work with ?

The answer is yes.

Can you tell me how much oil there is in this?

It has a weight of #10, ISO 22, which corresponds to its color. It might help if you read this.

What are the benefits of using this oil in sewing machines?

You can use this oil on your machine's motor, because first of all, it's a very good oil. This is extremely difficult to do if your machine is relatively new. If your machine is ancient Your machine and the motor in it will be fine. It might seem like I am preaching to the choir, but if you require this information, here it is If your machine is older, you may need to grease the motor rather than use Ensure that the motor is in good condition by looking closely at it. It is about 1/2 " in diameter if there is a tube An end of the motor has an opening on top and bottom where grease wicks can collect. You would not use oil here. It should be a more modern motor since it won't have tubes there should be a tiny hole near the shaft or on top where you can put a few drops in. That's all you need to know. It is possible to find a lot of videos on YouTube about cleaning and/or lubricating a motor if you are willing to putter around. You can find an example of how to oil a modern motor by searching "how to oil a Kenmore model 148 sewing machine motor". Kenmore sewing machines from the 1940's (and 1950's) were often equipped with motors that are called "outboards". A motor mounted externally to the machine. Most (but not all) of the newer models of roughly 1960's and forward had their motors located Please do not consider it a problem if you do not see a motor in any of the pictures It's out there, you just need to keep searching. The motor oiling work for inboards can be done by yourself, but it does require a little extra effort—just follow these instructions. Videos about this are also available on YouTube. To see an example of how grease can be used for an outboard motor, take a look at how to lubricate a White Rotary 77 motor. As you can see, there are little tubes in the picture. You should never ever let anybody tell you to use grease on your linkages and connectors inside your machine. Grease is only for gears and older motors, and you should only put a drop of oil on everything else. A drop is all that is needed, in this case, too much is not good. As always, if you are already familiar with all of this f*ck, I apologise and I won't repeat it. Trying to be helpful is all I want.

The oil was of good quality, the dispenser was good, and the price was the best I could find
5/5

I use this oil for my sewing machines because it is good quality. four, and this is a really good way to get into those awkward nooks and crannies where oil is supposed to go, but it's so hard to do with a regular There's nothing worse than having a broken extension straw, and I've never had a problem leaking from it. I like that the extension straw stores inside, so it doesn't bend or break. Despite your efforts, it's likely some leakage would occur if you didn't pull it all the way out. cleaning an easily accessible spot, but it seems It was a 2- ) The package arrived in excellent condition, with no leaks in shipping, and I have plenty of uses for both of them. This is very convenient for me to have in the sewing room, as well as for making changes in other areas of my life. This is one of the few products that I tend to give 5 stars to, however, I have enjoyed using this oil dispenser and the oil it contains.

I was extremely satisfied with the packing and shipping

It took a great deal of care and thought on the part of the company "Sharp Sewing Supplies" to package this product. Other reviews had noted issues with the cap falling, but Sharp Sewing created little niches in the box to ensure each bottle was perfectly My best attempt will be to post the pic. This company I have dealt with before and will deal with Thank you as this product is marketed by others since it is a highly recommended oil for sewing machines that have extended stems. I give it a thumbs up!.

In a bottle, there is magic

The ONLY thing you need for lubricating metals is this The moving parts are made of metal. It's my job to work in the manufacture of semi-conductors. This is what we use all the time at home.
I use it on everything at home. Please read *WD- Zoom ain't got nothing on 40!.

This light machine oil does not stain and comes in a squeeze container with an We docked one star for the My sewing machine oil has been used in every sewing machine I've ever touched, including industrial sewing machines
4/5

It's good to get sewing machine oil for such a low price. The only thing I don't like is the Only a little oil was in the ziplock containing the two bottles of oil because one of the bottles did not have a cap on it. The ziplock which held the two bottles of oil got a little squeezed in shipping. Although the oil won't evaporate, it means that I won't be able to store that particular bottle in the cabinet drawer without a You should be able to use the pull out nozzles on these bottles to reach the inner recesses of your machine that need a little refreshing once in awhile. Could they please send me a cap or an empty bottle to replace the one with no.

This is a very nice lubricant! A very good oil for light machine parts that allows them to function at an amazingly high level
5/5

Oil that gets into tight areas is sometimes difficult to find in other oils. There is no need to worry about the oil clogging sensitive areas like those on sewing machines or other products that are used infrequently. Give this lube a try for your next project you want to keep running. The fan on your computer is a noisy one, so I've used it to quiet it. My experience has been great each and every time I have used it. I have tried other oils on them before, but they either didn't work for long, or damaged the bushings on Since the oil has been working, my machine has kept a fan running for the past six months The lack of failure has lasted almost a year. There is never a reason to shut down this computer The server is down since it is used as a server, so the fan is always running.

There is a need to modify the spigot! A well designed stop is not present on the telescoping In this case, the telescopic hand grip pulls out and dislodges from the primary spout
3/5

As a lubricant the oil probably is what is described, yet customers are more likely to be purchasing the bottle for other reasons than that of the oil. In my opinion, it would be best to remove the telescoping tube, warm the flat end, and flare it at the flat end to provide a lip edge to widen Replacing the top is as simple as unscrewing it Place the cut angled tip on the inner side of the blade, pull it up and place it again It becomes part of the bottle when it is screwed on. The lip flare may be wide enough to keep the end in the bottle spout with an average pull, but it cannot be that wide. It should be used as is, In other words, there is no spout stop on the product.

Take a look at the instructions! It was concerning to read some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to see directions printed on the bottle to show how to use this product properly

You avoid getting your hands covered in oil this way. But here's to hoping that the tiny cap will be more durable and stay tight fitting better than the pipette of oil that came with my vintage sewing machine and leaked all over it.

A lot of oil is in it
5/5

Whenever I see it I'm impressed. This machine oil is very clean, very clear, the kind I love, but rarely see in my region. The two bottles for the price are a good deal, and I use this stuff all the time. Mix it 50/50 with rapeseed oil to make a lubricant that can be used for whatever kind of lubrication you need. Rapeseed oil is therefore ridiculously slippery, and when combined with a mineral oil, it is even worse.
