Those who are planning to replace their current spouts/upgrade their installation should be aware of the following It is not possible to equate the size of this spout with that listed. This spout is 7" long, which is perfect for those who want a longer tub spout (average length is approximately 5"), however the base diameter of the spout IS NOT 3". About 2 3/4 inches is the diameter of this tub spout! In the case of a fresh install it shouldn't be a problem, but if you have an existing hole in the tile you will have to cover (that's what my case is) it could be a bit of a headache. Make sure you keep that in mind when you are measuring because it may not seem like a big deal, but when you are dealing with tiled shower or tub walls, the difference is substantial. There is a difference between a diameter of 2 3/8" and a diameter of 3". However, apart from that discrepancy, this tub spout isn't the worst you can get. It's a great value, especially for the price. I'm also impressed with the weight, finish, and overall quality of the This slip-on floor is versatile and can be installed as a slip-on or a non-slip surface If you remove some pieces, there is a threaded inlet on the front of the spout for a screw - you can either attach it with a set screw or remove some pieces. The application is due on the date specified.
I love this long spout. Just what I was looking for. a standard shorter one and it always ran the water down the end of the tub and across the I would never do such a thing. As a result, the water now runs into the tub the way it should. Delta and Amazon are to be thanked.
Our contractor installed it as part of our remodeling project that included three bathrooms. I had no issues at all, it worked.
While the oil rubbed bronze is a little darker than some of my bathroom fixtures, it still complements the rest of the room.
Our plumbers used a short divider spout that did not even clear the bathtub when we just built a house. We replaced it with one easy swap that looks better and produces a more uniform water flow. I am happy with the way it looks and the build.
Exactly what I was looking for. This bronze fixture is easy to customize to fit your application and will match the other bronze fixtures you have. I recommend it.
Spout that fits perfectly in the tub and is very easy to install. I like the large spout on this faucet.
It is long enough for my drop in tub to be clear of the edge.
