A new hose was purchased. It wasn't clear why you asked, because Sure Can wasn't sure either. A short time after it was taken out of warranty, it began I decided to replace the hose when I was putting it on. One of the old ones snapped off, so they are both no longer usable. You don't have to worry. I changed to "A Paddock Friend. ". (See Review for more).

The spout on my 5 quart sure can had broken, so I needed to replace it. After purchasing this item, it was installed without problem for me. The cylinder is in good working order, It was easy to install the spout. The original should last longer than this copy.
