Also, I have a 4 inch wheel Was this product tested to see if it actually works?
To contact Westbrass, I would do so directly. I found their customer service to be helpful and very nice. However, the matte black has not yet gained much popularity. As a result, if I can't find matte black, I'll order it in oil rubbed bronze, then spray paint it It might be of some help to you.
The tub spout is the only thing here. There are no pipes in this example. A plumber is the only one who can supply this. There will be a requirement that it be long enough to go back into the wall and still have enough length to go down and under the spout

As a result of wear and mineral buildup at the diverter of an old Price Pfister tub spout that had screeched for about 20 years, I was in need of a direct replacement. The size of this one was the same as the original, so I took a chance on it it was perfect. It had the same width and height Besides learning how to trim the weight, the only difference was they knew how to read the scale. The measurement inside the spout is the distance from the starting thread to the outside of the spout.
It was a great buy to buy this Westbrass diverter spout. The diverter spout in our master bathroom became less effective and pitted as our original diverter one wore out. With this new nozzle, we have been satisfied for a few weeks now. The following are a few pros and cons of this spout, and I have attached some pictures and a short video sample of it. Simply wrap Teflon tape around the threads and screw them in place. You will be ready to go in just a few I wish you the best of A few pros This device is inexpensive, feels sturdy, and is easy to install. No special tools are required. The diverter works flawlessly. CONS Internals are made of plastic
Design is plain, not flamboyant.
There are three pipes in the pipe, starting at the wall and ending at the pipe. This fits perfectly because it is 8 inches wide. The bottom of the spout has a little cutout, so I wedged a screwdriver into the cutout and used it as leverage to secure the last bit of the pipe. Be sure you tighten with both your hands at the same time to prevent denting of The hose is in good working order.
I initially thought that it was just a matter of popping out the old filter and replacing it with a The tub spouts have different sizes that I did not know about. I told my husband how to install it, but after changing a pipe he was able to do it himself. The matte black is my favorite. my husband told me not to buy these things without showing him first. however, that being said, he said i should always see him first. I am blown away by it. Westbrass has also offered me some other tub parts, such as flanges, rings, etc. , which look great. Definitely recommend a tub spout, but make sure to measure how big your tub is in order to determine which size.
I've noticed a big difference in my shower/tub since installing this spout. There is no pressure in the system since I have hard water from a well and I am not on a city water system. It's always a struggle for me to stay away from calcium buildup When the diverter on my other spout fouled up terribly, I decided to try this one since it's an exact fit for my old spout. Once installed, I turned on the water and pried up the diverter. At first, it leaked worse than my previous one, then after a short while it clicked into place and worked perfectly (this must have been an airlock). As a result, my spout now performs great, there's no diverter leak (no water wasted) and I have great pressure when I'm taking a shower. In combination with the price, this is a good purchase that will not be expensive to replace again after a few years when calcium will begin to cause it to fail. I only had to wait a few minutes to install it.
The product itself isn't a bad one but it has been engineered to last for only a short time. There is a water diverter inside that is made of corrosive zinc, as it corrodes before any other metal.
When purchasing a spout from a home improvement store, the adapter fitting is usually included. All you get is the spout with this product. The fitting from my old spout would have to be removed to reuse, and I didn't want to do that. Fitting should be included on the spout, as it is on most other units.
It lasted years when I had the first one. As a result, I kept buying locally because I assumed that they were all similar. I figured if you look at the innards, there is really nothing different about it, so I figured it can't be better if I used another brand. In fact, it looks the same inside as when I got this one, but I was tired of needing to replace them every year or so even though they aren't very expensive. But this one has been in place for over 5 months now, and it has done the job It just happens, there's no rhyme or reason to it. In addition, the price is not too much more than what I typically pay.
