Do you know where the product was made? It was delivered next day and the part was an exact fit. I do not believe it came from China.

It is so inexpensive, I took the chance that it will fit my trim, which is true. There are no locking clips on this product, which has no real impact on its use.

It was a genuine Symmons diverter/volume handle as advertised on the seller's site. They are five stars in my book. I would give two stars to the manufacturer (Symmons). An extra retaining clip should be included on the handle, but it isn't. It seems that they don't want to spend the extra nickel on including You will either need to reuse your old clip, or you will have to purchase a new one. And what about Symmons? Is she actually him? Spend the extra dime and make the shaft, handle, and even the rest of the shower system out of metal, so people who have already purchased your shower system won't have to replace a substandard part. This is not directed at this seller, who did their job well.

During the past six years we have had the Symmons faucet, we have broken three of them. This might be an indication of a defective valve body or that we have acquired a crummy piece of plastic that we are eventually going to have to throw out. It may come to the point where I have to replace the entire valve with another model by punching a hole through the wall. I'm still going to buy these dinky little levers until then. Simply because it is affordable and easy to replace, I will give this product a star extra.
