If you want to buy this, consider these factors Throughout the lifespan of their products, Moen provides a lifetime warranty. Typically what is covered are the parts of the inner plastic that are likely to break (such as these). In the case that a Moen product is broken, then you can get a free replacement under your warranty from them. Most people will upgrade their trim rather than replacing it, so Moen knows who will do this. This means that, over time, the connection between trim kits and tub plumbing always evolves. Not only does it require you to buy a trim kit, but you have to upgrade the plumbing as well (and hire a plumber). Additionally, they don't sell quality conversion kits (which may be the reason you are looking at this kit). In our experience, it wasn't a successful kit for conversion. You need to fix your tub if you want to use it Get free replacements under the warranty when you contact Moen. You don't need to spend a lot of money on this if you're upgrading your tub. If you decide to upgrade your kitchen, you'll no doubt have to hire a good plumber. As you're trading away your old pluming anyway, you might as well upgrade As an opportunity to upgrade to a better quality faucet, it may be worth it to do so.
I have one suggestion to make When you attach this part to the faucet body, be careful not to overtighten the screw. Using tools to open one end of the faucet body will lock the other so tightly together that it won't turn, making installing the faucet impossible. (Turn the screw lightly and stop as soon as resistance is felt) - Do not overload the screw - I expect it to take 5 minutes for you to complete this.
These two faucets in the bathrooms have been replaced from the original ones in the past few years. In this case, the original plastic break and the faucet can't be used. There are new color-coded kits available, but they are not reversible so if you need more than one cold or hot, you have to order two sets. The same goes for Moen. You can try to get the company to send you a complimentary kit, but when your tenant needs a faucet to work, you don't want to wait around for Moen to save you.
A cold wave swept the country We had noticed that the side handle on our Moen bathroom faucet had been becoming looser and eventually broke As I scanned the parts list, I thought that I could probably see what broke and what needed to be done It was just what I needed to replace the damaged kit. All the parts fit together It's back to business for us!.
This is the original product from the nineties Breaking these things would be a bad thing. Moen has now released a replacement for the original As opposed to the fragile cheap plastic from the 1990s, the material appears to be some sort of durable ABS plastic.
It was in fact the correct parts kit for me, being an expert in the field. The price is a bit high for what it is, but it does the job!.
After four months, it began to wobble. In my case, installing the product in the handle of my sink was simple. The handle on the right side (cold water) of this item was sturdy for the first three months and then began wobbling. Despite taking it apart and assembling it again, it remains wobbly on the right side.
An outrageously overinflated price Prices are reasonable. The fact that it is unique and unavailable anywhere else is quite typical for small, replacement parts. Despite my love of Moen, I wish they were more considerate with their replacement part prices.
