Yes, it functioned flawlessly. Thank you very much.
The Moen 7590 faucet comes in a variety of styles, with a few of them employing this mechanism. I used this 100429 kit to repair my Moen 7590ORB (ORB stands for oil-rubbed bronze finish). The parts fit perfectly in the 2006 installation (oil-rubbed bronze). Remove the handle and see if the parts underneath look like this. If they do, this should work.
My faucet did not work with this method. However, it appeared to be simple to set up. Just double-check that it's the right one for your faucet. Good luck

When that small piece breaks (as shown in the photo), the faucet does not fully close, and you must press down on the handle to fully close it. I initially thought the problem was with the cartridge, but it turned out to be a problem with the handle connector. The new handle connector included in this kit is well-fitting, and once installed, the handle no longer falls or closes on its own. MOEN should address this issue by employing a more durable material. This is a moving component, and MOEN should be aware that a plastic component does not last indefinitely.
It only took 5 minutes for me to fix it. My Moen 93645 kitchen faucet was repaired with this part. The black plastic piece on my faucet, which is ten years old, has broken. It is simple to fix. Before attempting this repair on your own, I strongly advise you to look up instructions on YouTube. To remove the moen symbol from your faucet, all you'll need is a screwdriver and a small flat head. Simply ensure that the thicker part of the black plastic is facing down and that the metal grove is contained within the white plastic ring. Thank you, Amazon, for getting this to me so quickly. You guys are fantastic, and if I had ordered this from my local big box home store, I would have had to wait 5 days.
With the pull-out spout, we have a Moen kitchen faucet. The handle had become loose and had finally broken off. We could still get it to work by putting it on the broken part and pushing it, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. br>br>When I came across this set, I was planning on getting a new faucet. I recognized the pieces because I had disassembled mine to see if I could replace a broken screw. I'm not sure what model our faucet is, but it looked like a good match, so I went ahead and bought it. br>br>Even though the instructions were not very clear, I decided to give it a shot. Because I couldn't get the lever thing in there without removing the collar or whatever that piece is called (I'm not a plumber), I had to remove more than the pieces included. Some just slid off, but mine screwed off, and I was glad I didn't ruin anything, but I figured it was worth a try. br>br>Because this work is only on the parts that turn the water on and off, I didn't have to turn off the water. I was overjoyed when I finally got everything back together and it worked. It didn't take me long, and I have no prior repair experience, so if I can do it, so can you!.
The plastic cap on my Moen faucet had broken off, and the faucet would not turn on without vice grips, so this faucet adapter kit saved my life. I spent a month attempting to solve the problem. No, neither Lowes nor any of the other hardware stores I visited had this part. Lowes, in fact, had no idea what I was referring to. br>br>Once you get the kit, it's pretty self-explanatory, and it comes with EVERYTHING you need to repair it. Because the faucet's plastic cap is flimsy, I'd get a few of these just in case.
The plastic part (handle connector) in my kitchen faucet had dried out and broken, and I needed this kit to replace it. The instructions include an exploded view of the handle components, but they are otherwise sparse and omit a crucial assembly step. You'll be fine if you simply remove older components and replace them in the order they were removed, but replacing a broken connector may be difficult. The connector snaps over the metal handle adapter, which is the key to the whole thing. Also, and this may seem self-evident, ensure that the cartridge stem is positioned in such a way that hot air is directed away from the cartridge. Before reassembling, make sure that the cold are in the proper places.
for the sake of peanuts! I overheard my wife shriek about six months ago. The noise originated in the kitchen. "Help!" she yelled. ", I screamed, and I dashed forward. As water spewed out of the faucet, I found her desperately trying to thread the handle of our older Moen kitchen faucet valve back into place. The set screw had come loose, and the handle had unexpectedly flown away. Unfortunately, the set screw head had previously been damaged, and we were unable to fully tighten it. We lived with a jiggly funky faucet for months after visits to big box stores and local hardware stores yielded blank stares and shrugs. We were saving up for a brand new faucet when we came across the original paperwork saved by the previous owner while cleaning out files. We were able to determine the series number and locate this handy little kit of essential parts as a result of this. The instructions were excellent, and we discovered that the faucet had not been assembled correctly from the start. After about ten minutes of tinkering, we had a like-new faucet valve that now works better than ever. This is an excellent kit, and Moen deserves credit for keeping many of their parts consistent. This kit is compatible with a wide range of faucet models. I got a smile and a kiss from a very grateful wife, and I was as happy as can be.
I saved a lot of money by doing this instead of replacing the faucet handle! That's a win in my book! Please double-check that this is the correct parts kit, as the nearly identical faucet handle has been manufactured in three different versions over the years, necessitating the use of three separate parts kits. I had to spend a lot of time looking over the repair schematics to figure out which kit I needed. It's all too easy to purchase the incorrect parts kit, so take your time when determining what you need.
