There is no hollowness in them. A drill bit of 1/2" length is required to use the one with the brass insert available from Hobby Homebrew. Another seller sells one for a lower price made of straight plastic with no brass insert, but I am not familiar with it. It is also likely that they are not hollow.
The length of the bolt is 5/8"

64 beers are available on tap at the bar I run. Since I've seen every tap handle available, you can imagine the number of handles I've seen. You can only get the best from here. Almost all standard taps can be used with them. Because the base is small, you can really control the pour, making your beer look great as you serve it. Due to the small size, the brass pouring mechanism in the tap will last longer as a result of the reduced stress, saving you money and, more importantly, increasing beer consumption. If you have ever broken that piece, you know what I mean.
I've been quite satisfied so far with its performance.
As pictured, it does not look like that. My Kegco 2 tap tower came with handles that were significantly longer than those on these handles. In addition, they are thinner and do not have rounded edges at the top as shown in the picture. There was a problem, however, because it was "not returnable". This is what is known as wasting My kegerator will not allow mismatched tap handles!.
The handles are not bad they are just a bit too small for my liking. The problem is. For example, if you need 4 you would order four, or if you need 12 you would order twelve. This was ordered three times initially 6 the first time, then 4 the second, then 2 the third time. The handles on all the three sets are slightly different. There is enough to be able to see it even from afar.
Only five of the six handles were included in the package, as stated in the item description. Had all 6 been present, we would have given it a 5 star rating.
It seems to work.
Product that does what it is supposed to do is great. We had two tap handles that were in the way of each other, so I bought this. The mini pulls make it possible to pour draft beer smoothly and hassle free. This product does not have a place for the handle to be labeled, but I'm OK with that. The items were good and I would purchase them.
