I expected some of them to be quite good, but I was pleasantly surprised at its quality and features! As for the saw, I found it to be very easy to use, and everything about it works much better than I was expecting. Until now, my last saw was a much more expensive and more superior quality saw, one that I owned for over twenty years, but this one made me forget about my former, more superior saw immediately . For the money I spent on this saw, I got a tool that is better designed and easier to use than anything I own before. A vacuum system would have reduced sawdust on my previous saw, but I did not succeed in getting it to work. The saw is quite superior in this regard. I am not required to wear a breathing mask while using it!.
I've been amazed by how accurate the saw is and how easy it is to use. I took my time to make sure everything was correct, when I uncrated, assembled, and turned the switch on. I took my time to make sure everything was right. Besides that, we have a trip to the hardware store to get some bolts and nuts that are short. The process, in addition to having to purchase the plug and chord to connect it to our shop's electricity, was irritating. Having made the purchase, I am pleased with it, but I am surprised at the price when I consider the trip to the hardware store for fasteners and the electrical cord. Amazon delivery did a great job of placing the saw in my shop. Thank you. It was a pleasure to receive your package!.
The saw I received impressed me. It was well assembled, but I was a bit disappointed with the nuts and bolts, some of which were metric and some of which were SAE. A substandard fence table extends the fence but does not affect the operation of the saw. Measurements and alignments were dead on when the vehicle was built. It doesn't matter to me how good the bolts are or what kind of fence table they come with because the saw is otherwise awesome.
With ease and precision, everything adjusts smoothly and accurately. It will only be a hassle to set it up, I think. Although time-consuming, it has yielded exceptional results. I've used it at the maximum height on exotic hard woods without a single glitch.
As a woodworker, I have 38 years of experience. I have worked with Jet table saws in the past but this is the best to date. My purchase of the saw was placed and I was given a date to receive it, and it came one week ahead of schedule! My friend helped me set it up for about two hours since it is so heavy I highly recommend someone assist since the saw is so heavy. It was a pleasure working with those saws, and I was highly satisfied with the packing and shipping. I had it all assembled and ready to go in just over two hours.
