It's big and bulky, but it's a blast! I wouldn't call it the most portable because it's not easy to lift into a truck or van with just one person, but the features are incredible

This tablesaw was a birthday present from my wife, and it's a fantastic workhorse. When it's not in use, I especially like how it collapses and can be rolled into a corner or simply out of the way.

The worst two people you could ever put together

Please don't mix these up. They're not going to work. The table saw is designed to fit a different stand, and when I contacted them, they told me that I would have to modify it to fit.

The stand is NOT designed for the saw that comes with this kit! Uhhhhggg. There are no mounting holes on the corners of the saw; instead, rubber end caps are used. The bolts that come with it also won't fit the other holes that are closer to the center. I'll make it work with a drill bit, but it won't be good enough. If I were you, I'd pass on the package. I haven't even started the saw yet, so I'm hoping she'll be fast and precise.

The reason why it appears that the screws won't fit the hole is because the holes come at an angle and are too small for provided bolts, and those angled holes are to mount to the bench, so I hear so many reviews about people complaining that the saw doesn't match the stand, but if they read the manual or try to understand what it's telling you is to remove all rubber footing in the back and front, then put the bolts instead of the rubber feet and you should be fine

The stand was designed specifically for the saw included in this package! Yay. The DWE7485 saw has threaded attach points on the frame under those black plastic handles that allow direct attachment to the stand, and it's so simple to do that you won't even need a drill. If I were you, I'd go with the combo. I switched on the saw, and she started up quickly and precisely.
