Questions & Answers

The meaning of flex volt saw blade is What is it?

Blades like these are best suited to cordless saws with thin kerfs, such as this one

Can the vac be hooked up to a port?

You are right. The diameter of the dust ports is Approximately 1/2 in.

Is it possible to get a good run time out of a 60V battery for ?

It is possible to use the 6 ah battery to get you through most of the day if fully charged. However, if you intend on ripping dense wood or a large amount of it, it would be best to buy the 9 or 12 Ah batteries or to buy 2 batteries.

This device can also be used with a cord?

However, their 12" 120v miter saw does. While I am upset about this, I am encouraged by the fact that their other 120v tools do as well. It looks like the cord adaptor comes with the 12" miter saw, not the table saw as shown in the picture.

Selected User Reviews For DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX Table Saw, 8-1/4-Inch, Tool Only (DCS7485B)

HELPED ME MORE THAN I CURRENTLY KNOW WHAT TO DO! The first thing I would like to point out is how quiet it is, I am ripping boards in the kitchen and my two-year-old is still sleeping in the other room! As a DIYer, I did not need the blade size of a 10" saw
5/5

I was worried about the saw size but it was amazing. This battery operated saw is everything I hoped it would be. I almost got a rigid, but I am so glad I went with this. Because it is so precise, it is the closest thing to a professional saw that I've used. Despite the price, this is a great saw for people of all skill levels. In comparison to the other brands I was considering, I was anxious about the slop in the fence and having to check the measurements every time. I was looking forward to being able to set it, forget it, and forget it until I was done with the The battery is going to be charged in 20 minutes so for me that isn't a big deal. I am still evaluating the saws for their on board storage but I like it that each tool has a place to go. I really appreciate the convenient carry handle on this saw, and I enjoy being able to hold it with one hand. *Overall I am very satisfied, paying more for this product than the Ryobi and rigid saws, and I would recommend this one.

Update (ryobi and rigid were my other choices at the time). One thing I would like to mention is that when the battery was completely drained, it did take about 40 minutes to fully.

Despite being portable, the product is high quality
5/5

What if you could carry a portable table saw around with you? It would be easy to fill that void with this one. That is clearly what the game is about. Compared to other saws, this one cuts so smoothly and quietly. This saw cuts as well as a table saw of the highest grade. The idea that portable is a waste of space may seem absurd to you. In this case, it is not true. (I have had my table saw for just over 15 years now) It's much nicer than my cheap table saw. With this one you can adjust everything from the square of the fence to the miter to the blade alignment to parallel with the slots for the miter. You find it nice to know you can cut with a heavy duty saw and that it is made to be portable (not necessarily light).
It does seem that the battery drains rather quickly, but I have cut five nightstands, 15 8-foot desks, and two desk lamps. My work bench had 5x11 ACM sheets, 4 2x4, and 1 24x24 OSB 7/16" honestly, it isn't clear whether this happened because it was draining quickly or because the length of the fence allowed me to get so many things done so fast. Although it had been dead for a while, it wasn't yet dead. Although, I like how it runs and I have 6 9AH batteries, so I won't be running out of juice anytime soon. This saw is a great value for the price! The device should include the stand, but it does not. Certainly not a huge problem, but when I tried to find one in stock, it proved difficult to locate, so if it were included, no.

This is an excellent product and it is quiet! To use this without having to clamp an edge on a circular saw and make repeated cuts
5/5

The circular saw is not really loud it is actually quieter than my circular saw when it is My current board is accurate enough right out of the box, but I will test one with an old board to find out what the problem is. There is no doubt that the fence is very stable, just as the extended rest is as well. Aside from that, the portability is just right, since it's not that heavy and can be brought wherever you need it You could do it one handed if you wanted. From a project standpoint, I have a concern about it having only one miter slot so there is no possibility for cross-cutting We won't be able to use cut sleds. As well as the vertical slots, there are also horizontal slots so you can use the miter slot in a sled if you desire. In order to keep the saw running smoothly, you have to be careful with the start button flap, because if you let go too quickly, it can shut down because of A mid-range battery has enough life for a long time It's a good size project for me (at least for now). In my opinion, this table saw is excellent.

The power of first love
5/5

As a general contractor, I owned at least five types of table saws over a 20-year period. Of those, I owned DeWalt contractors saws, which I owned along with Rigid, Craftsman, Ryobi, and DeWalt saws. My favorite DeWalt saw was among many tools I sold off before we packed to move, including all of my shop tools. My search for replacements has begun now that we have moved into our new home and I no longer need tools. My hand tools are all DeWalts and I've always been a fan of their 20V Max tool system. It wasn't hard for me to make a decision after seeing this cordless 20V Flex saw. In no time I was ripping down treated 2x4s and cutting them to size with this kit. I hooked up a 20V Flex battery and got to work. There was no miss on this saw, which was powerful enough to finish the job in one swift cut. The twin track fence on my 10-inch DeWalt is just like the one I used on my old tool and stays put. I had a fine kerf blade to conserve battery life. In the saw's onboard storage are all the accessories except for the miter fence, but the fence is held in place by a "T" track. Moreover, I mounted it on the DeWalt DW4770RS foldable stand, which I also found to be well thought out. I find this tool to be very well designed and borrows many features from the large 10" DeWalt job site contractors saw. I would definitely recommend it.

I am in love with this My favorite thing about this tool is its simplicity
5/5

The dewalt miter saw comes with an adapter for 120v, but I wish the dewalt saw had one as well. However, the table saw was not available.

The latest Dewalt cordless tool is even better than before
5/5

With an anti-rolling mechanism, it is very easy to set up but does not prevent it from falling down. It is another excellent tool by Dewalt without a cord. It is powerful with clean cuts. This is an assembly that kicks back. In the end, there is the anti-smoking campaign Once I pushed the pin really hard and pulled it down, the kickback assembly became detached. I love cordless tools for DIY. They're so convenient and the batteries last for a long time. Buying corded tools is no longer an option for me. As well as Ryobi and Sunjoe, these companies manufacture good cordless tools.

I am in awe of your Great saw
5/5

I am thoroughly impressed. A huge fan of Dewalt's tablesaws, I have used them for many years. A great deal of attention has been paid to the accuracy of the rack and pinnon fence on this saw. Despite its size and weight, this saw is super powerful. All of the trim on the house was made out of white oak in our last project. There were no problems at all with this saw when it came to cutting the white oak flooring and trim. It is also easier in that the tradesman won't have to fight every other trade for access to the limited electric outlets that are on most When there is plenty of electricity available at the job site, even when I have this saw rather than the corded one I throw in the trailer, I grab this one. It is a great saw, and I highly recommend it. It is somewhat awkward to operate the on/off switch, you have to lift the big red stop button and push the green start button in order to turn on the saw, if the red stop paddle is not lowered slowly, the paddle switch will come down and the saw will turn It's a bit irksome, but it's not much of.
