It does not, in fact. I was worried that this would be a disadvantage, but it hasn't been an issue because I have two batteries (one charging in the truck). It fills up faster than it depletes. We also get a full day of use from a single battery.
Flexvolt 20/60 batteries will work in both 20 and 60 volt tools, but they must be from the Flex Volt line of tools because the tool and battery sense each other and use the appropriate voltage.
No, up to 8 1/4", but because 7 1/4" blades are cheap, I use them all the time for ripping 2xs and such. A blade that is 8 inches in length will suffice.
You can purchase a 220v charger from your local Dewalt store or on eBay. The table saw does not need 110v or 220v to operate. It is powered by a battery. You can use it as long as you have a 220 volt charger for the battery. In Malaysia, I have no problems with Dewalt 60v products.

I was very disappointed in this tool because I own all of the Flexvolt DW tools and had high expectations when I purchased it. A battery dies when 8 cuts the long way 2x4x8. As a professional or even a homeowner, you should avoid using this. Wish Dewalt would offer the same option as the miter saw for attaching the wire and bypassing the battery.
I've been waiting for someone to make a true cordless table saw for years! As soon as I learned that DeWalt made one, I purchased it. DeWalt products have earned my trust because they perform admirably in professional settings. It's no different with this saw. I was taken aback by how powerful it is! So far, the battery life appears to be adequate. I have two issues, one of which is simple to resolve. The blade that came with the saw isn't suitable for finishing work because it flexes too much, resulting in a very narrow kurf. When cutting 3/4 pine and poplar product, it would wander, so I replaced it with a slightly thicker blade, which appears to have solved the problem without affecting the saw's performance. The second point of contention is that there has yet to be a dedicated position taken. The corded version's base is sufficiently different that the corded version's stand will not work without clamps. br>Recently updated; My old folding stand had broken, so I purchased the part number 7451 to replace it. YAY! It works with both the corded and cordless versions! It really works.
I've had this saw for over a year and can't say enough good things about it. My father was blown away by it. It takes one flexvolt battery, which I would recommend the 9ah flexvolt for its size. If you are good at finding deals, it will cost you between 285 and 300 dollars. 320$ for two, as the runtime will be significantly improved if you can locate the 12. 0ah, that came out just right. Better! Dewalt does not currently make a corded adaptor like the flexvolt miter saw, which is the main disadvantage. If you want a main garage or small shop saw, this isn't the best fit. Swapping Batteries a lot and then waiting to charge them will slow your progress. That's why I think the corded adaptor will work well with this saw. You could use it as your primary and then throw it in the truck and head out if you need to assist someone. The blade is 8 1/4" in diameter, which is adequate for most hobbyists and most people, but larger cuts, such as 10 inches and up, yield better results, and a dado blade is not compatible with this saw. For large rip cuts, a full sheet of plywood must be ripped in half before ripping the rails. br>br>Now for the plus side, if you have a small shop, this thing is ideal because it is light and portable. The battery power is amazing! I've never experienced any real power loss, and the fact that it's portable is a huge bonus. I bring it with me to help friends and family, and if you're a framer or carpenter, this thing would be great on the job site because it doesn't require any extension cords. It's smooth, well-made, and has excellent safety features. The rails on this are excellent. I'd get one if the $500 price tag isn't too much for you. However, you are aware of its limitations and appreciate it for what it is!.
Having said that, they may use the power saw in the absence of electricity for now. I've been using these cordless versions for.
So far, this table saw has performed as expected; however, it should not be used to replace your large stand-up plug-in table saw. This table saw is designed for smaller projects, so don't expect it to split two-by-two. You have to be realistic, but I do a lot of woodworking and a DeWalt 60 volt table saw does everything I need on the job site without any cords. I'm very happy with this table saw.
The battery life is adequate, but you should avoid being too far from a charger. An extra battery can help you get through a few hours of cutting time. It would be great if there was an A/C adapter that could be used instead of the battery. br>br> I was very disappointed to learn that this table saw, contrary to the product manual, cannot accept a DADO set. In reality, I was only able to get a 1/4" cut by mounting the two outside blades. Going wider would rip some of the blade's surrounding components apart. br>br> I've heard that a 10" version of this saw will be released in the future. Hopefully, it will be a little more substantial.
I'm a general contractor who focuses on kitchen and bathroom renovations. In most cases, filler strips are required when I set the cabs. 3/4" Maple is used to make them. Today I cut a few, and the saw did a fantastic job. I did switch to a 36 tooth blade, which is better for ripping, and it cut like a budder. I'm very happy with the saw. It took a lot of thought to come up with. The accessories are stored on board. The table top is coated, allowing the stock to glide across it as it is cut. I also have a chop saw, which, when used in conjunction with the table saw, makes life a lot easier.
I'm a big fan of the flex volt system and. This is a fantastic saw. I really like the flex volt system and the fact that it's cordless. But be careful when using this saw to cut PVC trim. The table can build up a static charge and cause a real shock because it is not grounded.
