Questions & Answers

What makes the p235, p236 and p237 different? Is it just me or does the ryobi website only show the p237?

The P235 is a device that allows you to communicate with The P236 has the same specifications as the P236. The design of the P236 has been improved to include a Tri-Axle. Your work will be illuminated with the help of an LED nosepiece. The P237 adds a 3-speed transmission and boosts torque by 200 ft pounds to 1800. gearbox with speed, the Tri- When the trigger is released, the LEDs stay on for 10 seconds.

Is a battery and charger included in the package?

It was just the driver, but there are a few places on Amazon that have decent deals on multi-driver vehicles. It costs around $22 to buy a battery pack and a quick charger. At work, I use my driver, and the batteries I purchased here easily last an entire shift. My Ryobi has exceeded my expectations! I hope this has been of assistance. Best wishes for the holidays!

Is it capable of loosening and tightening lug nuts?

Wood screws and small bolts/nuts are the only items that will work. Car lug torques range between 75 and 90 foot pounds. My F250 has a torque rating of around 150 ft lbs. This little guy would be snapped in half. Check out these torque wrenches made specifically for lug nuts on Amazon. Pounds aren't the same thing as pounds
3/5

I've used a lot of Ryobi tools in the past, and they've always worked great. Until now, that is. 1,600 pound-feet of torque is mentioned in the description. The small print: 1,600 INCH pounds, to be precise. instead of FOOT POUNDS, which has long been the industry standard. With a fully charged 4AH battery pack, I was able to easily stall the rotating motion with just my hand, whereas the two Ryobi drills I own never did. I'm outmatched! Additionally, unlike all of their drills, there is no torque clutch. I'm not sure if I got a dud or not. Amazon has agreed to accept it back today.

Advertisement that is misleading
5/5

It's possible that this isn't a genuine product; I like it, but there's something off about it. It arrived in a plain white bag rather than a Ryobi box. Ryobi P235 1/4 Inch One NEW is written on a small sticker on the bag. Inside the bag containing the Impact Driver, there is no product or warranty information. I tried to register on the Ryobi website, but it wouldn't let me use my P235. Be cautious; this product may not be genuine.

With this one, I'm not sure where to begin! This is fantastic! It's now my go-to tool for everything
5/5

I bought socket adapters so I can use it as an impact wrench to remove small bolts. I use a ratchet to break the larger ones free first, and I can use it like this for about 3 weeks on a single charge (1. This is one of the top three best purchases I've ever made, as I used it to replace the gearbox and rebuild the engine in my pickup. It speeds up the entire process. I know it's not an impact wrench, but I've become so accustomed to using it that I've gone ahead and ordered a real one. Because that one is a corded model, I'll continue to use this one. I don't know how long it will last. I haven't had it long enough to see how useful it is, but so far it has proven to be very useful.

This is something I wish I had done sooner
5/5

Pocket screws, on the other hand, are a different story. It appeals to me a great deal. Having just one R- is a luxury. The impact driver comes next, followed by the tool drill. Fill one with the drill bit and the other with the driver. Heaven. One word of warning that I read somewhere and found to be true: In soft wood, the impact driver has a problem, especially with pocket screws, which you like to "sneak up" on the tight-stripe line. The torque settings on IDs are not adjustable.

This drill is fantastic! It's very relaxing
5/5

Simple to work with. It looks fantastic. We had a nice Craftsman impact driver, which we put to good use. I planned to replace it with the same drill, but it was no longer manufactured, so I went on the hunt for a new drill. This one was recommended by my uncle, and we absolutely adore it! It has a nice weight to it in the hand, not too heavy but solid and long-lasting. The color is fantastic. And it's compatible with the batteries we already have from other Ryobi devices. Hexagonal-shaped bits are used in this easy-to-use pull-out chuck. That's the only thing that bothers me - I occasionally require a round bit, which necessitates the use of a separate drill. This, however, is unquestionably by drill.

A driver with a light load
4/5

To begin with, 1,600 pounds of torque is not present. I'd read about it in other reviews, but I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway because my goal was to use it for bicycle assembly and other light-duty tasks. Because this tool is light weight and does not transmit torque back to the user like a drill, it does an excellent job of doing so.

It comes with lug nuts, which is a great deal! For the bare tool, this is a fantastic deal
5/5

br>It does exactly what it's supposed to do. br>Most importantly, the 1,500 in/Lbs equates to 125 ft/Lbs, which means it can handle the lugnuts on my 06 Acura RL, which have a torque of 95 ft/Lbs. Most cars, including my 96 Chevrolet Impala SS, have a torque rating of 100 ft/Lbs. There are trucks on the road.

It performs admirably and is very cost-effective
5/5

I used it for about three weeks and found it to be a great tool for the price. It was an excellent solution. Then, for $60, I discovered the ryobi brushless three-speed version at an outlet store. Needless to say, it's now my back-up plan, but it's a good one.
