Selected User Reviews For DEWALT 20V MAX Impact Driver Kit (DCF787C1)
According to the product listing (Amazon site), the battery has a capacity of 1. The capacity is 5 Ah. A hand-check mark area was included in the product container box: DCB 207 or DCB 203 are two different types of DCBs. My included battery was the DCB 207 1, which was an older (and smaller) model. 3 Ah. According to what I've learned, the smallest size battery is no longer available new. I guess DeWalt product managers thought shipping out their old (smaller capacity) stock with the 2018 "special buy" packaging would be a great idea. Who knows if it's a big deal or not. But be cautious- You will likely get a shorter life, older battery model with 15% less capacity than the smallest of the small currently sold battery model currently sold battery model currently sold battery% And don't be surprised if you have to wait if you try to contact DeWalt online chat. (I gave them ten minutes to think about it. ).
From my first review, I've changed my mind. My sister had a 200-foot-long wood fence that was nailed together. I purchased a box of screws weighing five pounds. After three hours, the upper, middle, and lower screws were installed throughout the fence. This unit has a lot of power. I used an Amazon-purchased aftermarket 5 amp battery. The high-amp batteries are what I recommend.
I was expecting a lot from this impact driver. I have a lot of tools, but none of them are De Walt, so I ordered this driver to try it out. When you pulled the trigger on the drill when it first arrived, it would shut off almost instantly. I was able to coax it into working if you were very slow on the trigger, but once it was set down, it would go back to not working the next time; I contacted customer service, but they had no idea why it wouldn't work. I contacted a repair shop a long way away, and the technician immediately recognized the problem with the temp circuit board. I couldn't bring it in because it was too far away, so I gave it back. The tool was great, but it wasn't quite right for me. I purchased a Craftsman, which is fantastic. I'm content with myself. De Walt had piqued my interest as a potential new supplier of hand power tools. That will not be the case.
I had been reading reviews about this impact drill before purchasing one, and I'm very pleased with it. Spend the extra money and get the extra attachments that come with it, and you'll be glad you have a complete tool at your disposal. The light is especially useful when you're working in an area where you need to see what you're doing without having to go get a flashlight. You'll be pleased if you purchase one of the kits. It is something I strongly suggest.
I've spent the last seven years working in an industrial setting, mostly with metal, but I've recently decided to take up woodworking again as a hobby, and this is an absolute must-have for screwing wood together. I haven't had much experience with Dewalt's 20v lineup, but I must say that I am impressed, at least for home use. I purchased larger batteries, assuming that the 1. The 5 amps provided would be insufficient for a long time. I couldn't have been more wrong, to tell you the truth. The 1. The 5 amp battery wore out quickly, but it lasted me through several projects. I could find the same price for the combo $99 at lowes but hey I get 5% cash back here so I bought it online. It arrived quick and in perfect condition The bag included is much smaller than I anticipated, but it is large enough to hold the included items as well as a few other small items, and it appears to be of good quality.
The only problem is that the description is incorrect; this impact is a single led, not the upgraded three-lead version.
Don't be fooled by the product description; it refers to the brushed Dewalt, not the brushed. I'm hoping Amazon will make the necessary adjustments. It has 1500 square feet of interior space. torque-wise in lbs.
Others may be more powerful, but mine works well for me and does not damage fasteners or adapters. I use it to speed up the removal and installation of fasteners, lug nuts, and other small parts, but I ALWAYS start and finish by hand to avoid stripped or broken parts. Fasteners are used to hold things together. br>br>My opponent employs a red impact driver, which is noticeably more powerful. He has a habit of breaking his socket adapters. This is exactly what I'm looking for.
