It illuminates the path! Porter Cable has always been one of my favorite television shows
5/5

They've persuaded me over the years that they're the best in the business, particularly when it comes to impact drivers. This model, the VPCCK647LB, is new to me, but it has a number of features that I like. For starters, it's a little shorter, which makes it easier to maneuver through tight spaces. Second, it isn't as tall as the previous model, allowing for even more maneuverability. The fast-paced environment The use of a change chuck is commonplace, but it is always appreciated because it allows for easy one-handed operation. The bit is taken away by hand. The trigger is sensitive, allowing for more precise speed control (or, if bored, making up a lovely tune with the different pitch of the motor). br>The color is very appealing, much nicer than "other" yellowish products. (yellow, eww) The weight is substantial but not excessive, indicating its high quality. Finally, the placement of the light is a feature I did not purchase it for but greatly appreciate. Other manufacturers and models place the light directly beneath the bit. Which is fine, but it frequently gets hidden, much to my chagrin, when I'm working. On this model, the light is located at the bottom of the pistol grip, pointing upward. I couldn't block the light no matter how hard I tried. This is a fantastic addition. However, be cautious. This tiny man is a force to be reckoned with. It can easily "jump" off whatever you're trying to tighten or screw in if you don't have a good grip and don't respect it when using it. The battery life is average, but it quickly charges. It also comes with an ambidextrous belt clip that works just as well on a tool belt for all-day work as it does on a regular belt or just your pants for quick jobs around the house. It also makes a satisfying sound when activated, which is especially useful for scaring an annoying cat. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone, young or old, hobbyist or blue-collar, to purchase this impact driver. employee with a white collar job It will complete the task at hand, and you will enjoy doing so.

As a Milwaukee resident, I'd like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to work This impact has a lasting, efficient, and strong impression on me
4/5

I can use this impact for an entire day and still have plenty of battery life left. This impact is also the toughest I've ever handled, with rubber bumper guards and a sturdy frame that can withstand a 20-foot fall. When clipped to my harness, the impact will be swinging and hitting things, making it ideal for tower work. This impact is also powerful, and it cannot be tightened. With a pair of channel locks, I was able to hand tighten a 7/8 nut that was tighter than I could hand tighten. I rely on Porter Cable and am confident that their impact will not let me down and will last for a long time.

Except for the belt clip, everything else is excellent
4/5

For what you get, this is a fantastic deal. The driver performs admirably, and the two batteries provide ample power for long jobs. br>br>I docked one star because when I tried to attach the belt clip, the screw that holds it in place only went 3/4 of the way in before stopping. It refused to tighten or come out, rendering the belt clip useless and leaving a screw protruding from the handle's butt. I returned the item to Amazon and received a replacement that was free of the problem. br>br>Right now, my only concern is that the belt clip is secured by a single, tiny screw. I'm not sure how long this will last, but only time will tell. br>br>To complete my kit, I paid $25 at my local Home Depot for a Milwaukee 144-piece impact driver set. Another fantastic deal that will almost certainly provide me with more bits than I'll ever require, and they are compatible with this driver.

Brushless, to be sure
5/5

I've had this for a few months and it's the best impact I've ever owned. It's powerful enough for any job, and the battery power lasts for days on a single charge. My coworkers despise brushless because they haven't upgraded yet, but they enjoy using it. They go through almost two batteries to my one, and the second battery has one bar left when I run out. I've stopped using cords and dewalt screwguns unless we're working on a building that's 100 feet or longer. I build steel buildings for a living, and this is the perfect tool for me and a great deal. Brushless is the only way to go with any impact on the market if you use it professionally just an update only problem I've had with this impact is compression spring replace it easy fix stop locking in bit but I've put plenty of hours on it with socket adapters still strong as ever but dewalt brushless if you have that coin is the best coworkers have since upgraded and it's bar none the best but porter cable is still not a bad decision for the price.

Designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use by homeowners
5/5

I purchased this brushless impact driver to complement my other Porter 20v impact (brush) so that my father and I can begin construction on his barn. I've driven over 400 miles in only a few days. For my fencing project, I used 3/4 galvanized screws, which are clearly smaller and lighter than the brush model. It's not only easy to use, but the batteries will last much longer. This was a great buy for me because I'm one of those people who needs a drill that's better than a harbor freight brand, but not as good as a millwaukee or Makia pro series drill. Porter Cable is a good "middle of the road" quality product that should last for many years in what I would consider heavy home owner use. My next set of drills will almost certainly be "brushless," as they are the genuine article. Is it possible that my next set will be a Porter Cable? Because of the high level of competition and the fact that they are owned by Stanley Black, I have a feeling they will stop producing cordless products. decker. Who is the owner of Craftsman, Dewalt, and other similar tools? In any case, I have no intention of wasting money on a Dewalt or a Milwaukee due to the high cost and overkill! This effect will undoubtedly linger for a long time. br>br> even if it's only used once a week or once a day? It has all of the necessary features as well as plenty of power. I drove a six-wheeler. I can't express how pleased I am with the impact of these 5" screws into some 4x4 treated posts. My other brush has the same impact as my other brush, but it's a little taller and wider. Porter Cable has a great cordless lineup in any case. All of the 20v tools are in my collection, and I use them all on a regular basis. 4- Go out and get some aftermarket parts. You could literally run a drill or circular saw all day with 5 amp batteries. I just hate hearing the rumors and seeing the obvious lack of space at Lowes that Porter Cable is on its way out, and that it will most likely be the next to go extinct.
