Great size-to-power ratio for a big impact! So far, I'm a big fan of the impact
5/5

I work primarily on commercial HVAC equipment as an HVAC technician. This size-to-power ratio has a great impact! I can throw it in my tool bag and keep it with me all the time, whereas I couldn't fit the M18 in my bag and had to leave it in my truck to save weight. It has roughly the same power as my older M18, and the battery lasts a long time (when using the M12 2). 0), and it appears to be a good tool overall. The four different modes are fantastic. Because 3 has so much power, I often leave it on 2, but having the extra torque when you need it is nice. I can't comment on durability because I just received it, but it appears to be quite durable. This is a total win if you want a smaller, more subtle impact. br>br>11/1/19 Update: Impact is still going strong, despite the fact that I've dropped and abused it numerous times. I've had the most impact in my life. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>Update This beast refuses to give up! It's been dropped, smashed, and rained on, but it still works as well as the day I bought it.

It's almost as if it's been "updated" by remanufacturing
3/5

Cons: The package did not come in its original packaging. The forward/reverse switch does not feel like the milwaukee quality I'm used to. Because of the mushy feel, I'm concerned about the switch's longevity.
Pros: has plenty of power for its small size. br>Will update over timebr>* I abuse my tools on a daily basis as an automotive technician. So far, this program has exceeded my expectations. Both powerful and diminutive. The switch appears to be in good condition. When this one wears out, I'll definitely buy another one just like it.

This device is incredible
5/5

Wow, I can't believe how talented this young man is. It's quickly become one of my most-used tools. When I was working on a fence, I purchased it so that I could continue working while someone else used a different drill to follow behind me. This driver has made me extremely happy. My score is a two. 0 Ah battery (sold separately) lasted all day with hundreds of drills/screws set plus it charges quickly if you run it down throw it on the charger if you stop for lunch or a run to the hardware store and it'll be fully charged when you return. With a socket connector, you can easily drive some lags. It doesn't drive as quickly as my M18 driver, but it still performs admirably for the weight, build, and price; the best part is that it's extremely light and won't tire your arms if you have to lift it up and down frequently. If you're on the fence, go ahead and buy it; you'll be glad you did.

Take a look at what you've received! I was given a tool that was clearly used or re-used
3/5

refurbished The battery slot had scoring and what appeared to be someone's initials on the inside, as if it had been re-used. The anvil had scaring on it, as if it had bits installed in it. I immediately sent it back.

This was an outstanding performance
5/5

I use this tool for work, and I've been very pleased with its performance thus far. Because the majority of the work entails fastening metal surfaces with self tapping screws, having the right tool for the job makes the job a lot easier and faster. I had previously purchased the 2453, and while it is a great tool, it struggled with difficult tasks such as driving a self tapper into thicker metal or a 5" deck screw into wood. br>br>This is a whole different ballgame than the 2453 power-ups. wise, and it's beaten the crap out of everything I've thrown at it thus far. The self-tapping screw setting is great for getting it started, but it usually won't have enough torque to drive it all the way in, so I go halfway and then switch to "3," which has plenty of power. It's what I use with my XC 4. I'm not sure how much the lack of a battery affects performance, but as I previously stated, it's handled everything from self-driving cars to self-driving trucks. Tappers to deck screws, 9/16 bolts, and even drilling into solid concrete with a carbide drill bit (which got very hot but never stopped or slowed down). br>br>My team uses Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi, and Rigid tools, and this little guy has wowed us all. It's just as powerful as our older 18v Milwaukee (non-electric) generator. It's a brushless) driver, which is quite cool. Despite its small size, this is a fairly heavy little tool, which may be its only drawback; while it is light and compact, the DeWalt is significantly lighter. Still, given the increased power, it's not a big deal, and the ergonomics are excellent, thanks to the prominent palm swell on the grip. br>br>This is only for the tool; no fancy box or accessories are included. This is usually sold as part of a set, so you won't be able to find one on its own at your local Home Depot. Aside from that, the price is reasonable, and my order arrived in excellent condition.

An Aircraft Mechanic is a person who works on airplanes on a regular basis
5/5

As an aircraft mechanic who performs numerous annuals, you are well aware of the number of screws that must be removed. This tool is ideal for this application because it is lightweight and has just the right amount of power for small aircraft hardware. At work, I use mine almost every day. I have a backup battery that I only need to replace once a week. In comparison to my heavy drill, which gave me wrist cramps on the first panel, I don't get any fatigue in my wrists holding this screw gun above my head. br>br>I strongly recommend this for aircraft mechanics; however, you may need to reduce the torque setting by one notch to avoid overtightening screws.

The 12 volt driver isn't the best- I was disappointed
3/5

I have four Milwaukee 12 volt drivers, two of which are excellent two-speed fuel drivers and two of which are less expensive single-speed models. The four speeds and shorter design appealed to me, so I purchased it. However, it is severely hampered by its lack of power. To drive a 2" drywall screw, you'll need to use a high-speed drill. It doesn't have any clutch settings, and it doesn't drive screws very well. I wasn't impressed by the HVAC sheet metal work. I also have a 12 volt hammer drill, which is a fantastic tool. Although it is not as powerful as the 18 volt, it is a real powerhouse in comparison to its size.

Purchase it because it is fantastic
5/5

The Milwaukee tool that started it all. Let me warn you: this is a bad situation! Just a heads up, setting 2 will strip aluminum threads. Because it strips stuff on setting 2, I only use it on setting 1 to pre-tighten bolts on my car. br>br>However, I am extremely pleased with the tool. It's nifty because it's small but powerful. br>br>Update 2 months later: This thing is still going strong after all these years of use. Although it lacks the strength to dislodge larger bolts, it is extremely versatile in that it can also be used as a screwdriver or drill. I really like it. I've been using China batteries since the beginning, and I've never had any problems.
