I have a number of Makita power tools and have never been dissatisfied with any of them. In my opinion, Makita is the best for ergonomics. This tool performs as expected and is enjoyable to use. I also purchased the FD06Z 12v driver, which is compatible with this device. These are the first in a new line of 12v tools. Unless you require a lot of power, this size is the ideal balance of lightness and power. Battery status indicator, led light, stand up base, and belt clip are just a few of the cool features. Both tools work well together in terms of functionality. One possesses power, while the other possesses control (i. e. clutch). The only issue I had was that it appeared that purchasing the dt03r1 kit with the fd06z tool cost about $30 more than purchasing the dt03r1 kit without the fd06z tool.
I've tried a lot of drills, and this is the best one I've ever used. The battery life is excellent; I've only charged it once, and I use it all the time. It's easy to use, light weight, and dependable; I highly recommend it. Perfect drill driver for any home ownerEven though this is not supposed to take logs off a car, it worked for my Honda Civic.
For small jobs, I use my older battery-powered electric drill. However, it lacks the Makita's power as well as the impact feature. The light weight is also advantageous because it makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces. I especially like the bit lock feature, which other tools lack: quick release to place another bit into the chuck and continue working; much better than having to worry about the bits not lining up properly in the chuck when you're in a hurry. You did an excellent job!.
com) because it wasn't available as a stand-alone tool in this location. (It's a mystery why Makita doesn't offer the DT03 and the FD06 as a combo kit like they did with the FD01 and DT01, given their robust design for these latest 12V Max CXT tools. ) I've been using the Makita DT01 (along with the FD01 1/4" Hex Chuck Driver) for the past 5 years. Drill) for a 75-minute performance. 80% of common construction and similar work tasks are automated. That said, Makita's latest 12V Max impact driver outperforms its predecessor by providing roughly 2/3 the torque and speed of other popular 18V impact drivers from Makita and other manufacturers. At 2. It weighs about 3 lb (with battery) and is about 0. While having strong performance specs, it is 5 lbs lighter than the most compact 18V (brushed) Makita impact driver currently available (Model XDT11Z). In terms of performance, please see the table in the attached photos for a comparison of both the older (pod-based) and newer (pod-based) models. 12V impact driver models are available in two styles: older (slide-style battery) and newer (slide-style battery). br>br>Because the DT03 is slightly taller (roughly 3/4 in. ) as a result of the new battery design and reduced weight (0. Although it weighs slightly less (3 lb) than the DT01, its ergonomics are slightly better because the handle is significantly thinner and more comfortable to grip, not to mention the improved tool balance. br>br>My main complaint with the DT01 was its limited battery capacity, whereas with this new model, it's the battery charging time. With the previous model, one of the pods would not charge. 12V Max Style Pod In about 30 minutes (50 minutes according to Makita), style batteries could be charged. The integrated LED battery charge indicator is a nice touch, but the new slide-style batteries take 70 minutes to charge. 0 Ah, and for the 4, it's a whopping 130 minutes. 0 Ah. Since I recently charged a 50% depleted 2, this seems to be accurate. It took 45 minutes to charge a 0 Ah battery (which seems like an eternity when you're waiting). When compared to the 30-year-old record, the 30-year-old record is For a similar 18V battery, the charging time is 3 minutes. The Makita DC10WD 12V charger isn't particularly quick (it has a capacity of 0 Ah). Makita, in my opinion, completely missed the mark on this one. The slide battery design, on the other hand, allows the tool to stand vertically, just like its larger 18V cousins. br>br>This is a fantastic tool that works in a similar way to its bullet-proof counterpart. The new model improves on its predecessor in small but noticeable ways, such as increased speed and power, as well as a larger battery capacity. This book comes highly recommended.
I've been wanting a drill/impact driver for a long time. This Makita is the perfect fit for my needs at an affordable price. br>It's powerful enough for everyday household tasks while also being capable of handling the occasional car problem. I find that having two batteries is sufficient. I haven't had the opportunity to put the impact resistance to the test on bolts, but I'm confident it will perform admirably.
I can't believe I've never had a chance to use an impact driver before. Loosening screws is now a lot of fun! There will be no more headless bodies! I'll have to be careful not to dismantle my entire house with this device. Since I got it, I've been on the lookout for new things to disassemble.
My son and I both adored ours. As a result, I bought it for him as a birthday present on Amazon. He was ecstatic. br>.
It has a lot of power and is well-made for such a small machine. made.
