Spend your money on a DeWalt tool that you know is made in the United States.
It's fantastic and, in my opinion, well worth the money. The WARNING is as follows: br>br> One of them isn't working properly for me. Despite the fact that I've replaced all of the bits, extenders, and other components (all of which are brand new), she wobbles more than any other vehicle I've ever owned, making her practically useless at the moment. I have a lot of Dewalt drills and guns. I had put off purchasing this impact for a long time, but now that I've used it on the job, I'm going to order another. br>For decking, steelbuilding construction, sheds, and much more, the tool is tough, balanced, and powerful. br>I was blown away by how long the battery could go between charges. It quickly charges. You can attach it to your belt with the included belt clip or carry it in your tool belt (it's light). It has a lot of power for such a small tool.
I've charged the batter once and haven't needed to do so since. Over the course of two weeks, I've used it for a variety of projects, and the battery life appears to be excellent. I like the light on it because I've had to use it in a dark environment and it's been very useful. In addition, it's very effective at screwing things in. It's also a good idea to get the right bits for this to work properly. It's very simple to swap out bits. I've used it with a socket to tighten screws and bolts. It's perfect for everyone.
Dewalt's 20-volt tool set is fantastic. They function flawlessly, and all 20v lithium ion batteries are compatible with all tools. This impact driver performs admirably and provides a tremendous amount of torque to any screw or bolt you're driving in. Because of the brushless motor, the battery lasts a long time, and it feels great in your hand; I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to expand their impact driver collection.
This is where Dewalt comes in. This is my second Dewalt, having upgraded from a 19V model. The transition from a regular driver to an impact driver is comparable to the transition from manual to battery screwdrivers decades ago. Although this impact driver is less expensive than many Dewalt impact drivers, it packs a punch (i. e. I don't need the speed range selector on the 12" SDWH, and the battery life is adequate.
I have several drills, but I borrowed one of these from a friend to finish installing lag bolts after my plug-in drill failed. I never expected a cordless device to have more power than a corded device, but I was pleasantly surprised after my friend insisted. I received one for Christmas and just gave one to my father for Father's Day. He has others, just like me, but this became his go-to very quickly. I have to say, the built-in flashlight is a feature I didn't realize was missing from other drills/drivers until now. Finally, it's light enough for my kids to use when they're working on wood projects. Imagine how much lighter it would be if I used it every day.
