By using the Bosch 11210VSR with the 50mm bit, you can M25 concrete. The pre-exam was a great experience for me My pilot drill bit did not penetrate the wood plate, so I did not use it and cannot speak for how well it would be retained if the set screw does. I used a regular hole saw to cut the hole, but I did not use the pilot drill bit. I removed the drill every 15 to 20 seconds to vacuum out the dust and chips made by the drill bit. This allowed the bit to make good, steady progress over the course of the job. In spite of drilling for a long period of time, the bit had relatively little wear, chipping, A close-up of the most damaged tooth can be found in the attached photo. Overall, the other teeth appeared to be in better condition. In spite of my best efforts, the SDS stem became stuck to the 50mm end bit, but after a bit of persuasion and differential heating/cooling, the stem came free. The price is reasonable for the quality of the product.

Even after being tightened on with wrenches, the head of the pilot bit comes off while drilling, as it is held in by a small screw that loses its grip as it drills. It is such a bummer that this tool does not Would really like to use this on our small SDS hammer drills for the projects we do.

My recommendation is not to spend the money unless you will be using it for a small, quick hole. It took me less than 5 minutes to drill a 2" hole in a concrete foundation and I didn't go any deeper than 1".
