The drill bit broke off the spring on the very first hole I drilled, so I should probably give it one star. I'm going to file a refund request. br>br>However, it's possible that I received a faulty set. br>Both the quick change and the case are fantastic. But the dreaded ejection spring left me disappointed.
This is an excellent resource. At work, we're installing 7/8 RFS cellflex cable; on a previous project, we encountered a 1/8" thick steel plate that we had to cut through to pull the cable, and we had a difficult time doing so. The same type of steel plate was encountered at a new location doing the same type of installation, so these cutters were purchased specifically for that purpose. I sprayed some cutting oil on the surface and got to work; the cutter completed its task in a matter of seconds, leaving me puzzled as to why I hadn't received them sooner. The blades look brand new after a quick clean cut. This is an excellent resource.
Cutting holes is a breeze with this tool, and it lasts for a long time. The only thing that is required is a greenlee pilot bit. It'll cost you around $10. In a pinch, a 1/4 inch bit will not suffice.
Worked perfectly. The only drawback is that the cutters fall off the arbor after a while, which is inconvenient when you're 20 feet up on a lift and you're worried it'll land on the carbide teeth and break off. So far, I haven't needed the larger sizes that come with the full set (660). I would buy it again.
Cutting quick, smooth, clean holes in panels and junction boxes is a breeze with this product. The bushings and fittings are simple to install and clean.
I can't put 1 start or it won't let me post my review to help you people not but this product falls off the pilot and loses every size I wish I could get my money back but it's too late so please be aware don't waste your money!.
This is my favorite because it is lighter and of higher quality, and it cuts through all of the steel I need without breaking my teeth.
I have a 20 volt dewalt that works perfectly fine on 2 and lasts longer. Simple to swap out.
