We would appreciate if you could provide us with the sizes of the tools. Approximately 3mm - There is no point in using 18mm. 17 x 1 is the size of this set. ?

I apologize for the long response time, but we do not have that size in that set.

Can you tell me where these are ?

In light of the fact that almost nothing is made in the US anymore, I would suggest offshore. The set is, nevertheless, a decent one in terms of its quality. There is also a lifetime warranty on this product. As for the warranty, I hope I can locate where it can be handled if I ever need it, but in theory Amazon takes care of that as well.

The box states that the tap or die is not covered by the warranty
3/5

On the gearwrench website, it clearly states that they do not guarantee the actual tap or die. I snapped the first time I used it.

I am disappointed
3/5

Despite the poor quality of gear wrench products, I am very disappointed in the company. After they sold out, it just seemed and still does as if the product gets worse every time. As soon as I used this product for the first time, I noticed that the tap wrench had come apart. It was then that after I put it back together, one of the taps broke. My purpose was not even to thread a new hole, I was simply cleaning out an existing bolt hole with no pressure applied. In response to my request to GearWrench to replace the item, they said they offer no warranty at all on taps, even though the product listing states that it is guaranteed. There is no resolving issues with GearWrench products! I have a lot of GearWrench products but I am going to start purchasing different brands!.

Several people have seen the wrench fall apart (it has happened to others, too)
3/5

The tool is very useful, and I wish I could give it This kit includes a large selection of taps and dies, which makes it better than most kits when it comes to the variety of If I had to pay $500 for a real kit, I would definitely do it. As a gear wrench tool owner with previous experience, I leapt at the chance of buying it after seeing the reviews and price. This madness is so unbearable. I've seen other people facing the same problem. Clearly, there is a problem here. The quality of this kit wouldn't be enough for me to recommend it.

The quality of this product is laughable and shameful! This is a very poor quality product
3/5

This great deal of ratcheting handle has a big flaw, which was revealed to me upon first use. In just a few seconds he snapped his fingers In this case, the internal workings of the mechanism were ejected when the sealing ring failed. GEARWRENCH, as a business, is a company whose quality is immediately demonstrated by its inability to build tools. The ratcheting tool by GEARWRENCH has been reported to fail straight out of the box on more than one occasion. Both the 14mm and the 17mm reversible wrenches were used the same way. Through my purchase of the tap and die set from GEARWRENCH, I was willing to give it a second chance. It was a big You will save money and time with tools that will not spring a leak the first time you use them.

until it fell apart. I really liked it for about 20 seconds of use, and then the wrench (I think that's what it's called? (see photos). ) Fell apart. In spite of the fact that I managed to put it back together to finish the job, out of an abundance of caution, I'm returning the device.

An excellent set of furniture that offers a lot to this home - An individual
5/5

Before purchasing the set on this website I read the reviews and was especially intrigued by the report of some gouges in some of the machined taps. Despite a couple of reasons, I ordered nonetheless. As a first point, this is not a small business. The company is part of Apex Tools, which has over 100 years of experience and owns companies such as Lufkin Tapes, Crescent Tools, Wiss cutting tools, Nicholson Files, etc. My home has all three of those brands of tools, and I have had exceptional results with them for 30 years which is quite impressive Therefore, I thought I'd give the set a shot and if I wasn't satisfied with it, I could always return it (thanks to Amazon). There's no going back on that line. In my experience, I use Tap & Dies for home and hobby use, but I can understand why Professionals who use these tools on a daily basis would feel differently about what is needed. It is a great set for my use at home, and for what you get, it is a good price. For this price point, I cannot compare it to an Irwin/Hansen set of similar configuration. This set has also been used by me and it meets all my needs quite well. Specifically, I have some small gouges on some of the larger Taps, but they are not as severe as the reports say. Nonetheless, these gouges are only on a few taps. They are also small, and they do not extend to the cutting edges of the taps. There is no sign of wear on the cutting edges, and they are sharp and well preserved. These very few gouges on the threaded following surfaces will not affect how well the tool cuts threads (for me), as they are located on the threaded following surfaces. During the machining of a couple of specific taps, I needed to clean out a few burrs that had become loosely attached. As For the Taps, I've already tried some of them, and they cut great. I'm quite impressed with the accessories that come with this set. They are also quite useful and well made. There is something nice about the Tap Adapters included with this set, in particular the way they lock into the T-Slot. An allen key. Only complaint I have about the T-shirts is that they are a bit thin One of the problems I have with wrenches is that I cannot lock the ratchet. By flipping and switching the selector, you can move forward or backward. Those who have done a lot of tapping on harder metals will know that it is often necessary to go back and forth to release the burrs that were cut and subsequently lodged. It is possible for me to accomplish it with the flip-flops There was no ratcheting on the wrench. In terms of cutting soft metal, however, I really like that ratchet and the fact that I can move the handle without changing my grip is great. The overall impression I get from this set is that it is a good Despite what you mention, it is not an Irwin/Hansen set or even of a higher standard. I will be able to use this set very often for years to come, as this set is perfectly suitable for my purpose and usage. Having owned a Tap and Die set for more than 30 years, I already have a much smaller, very cheap Tap and Die set. By using a good Tap and Die set, a lesser quality Tap and Die set can last for many years if you care for it, use some finesse, use cutting fluid, etc. *) One As well as Gator Tools, I purchased the Microsoft Office 2007 version It is imperative to keep the tap centered when starting the threads (especially when the thread is starting). We rate this Gator Tools Tap Guide as excellent and give it five out of five stars The night sky by itself is filled with stars. It appears they maintain the barrel diameter so that the cutting portion diameter does not exceed the barrel diameter on their smaller Taps. I've examined these sizes in Irwin Taps so far and they retain the barrel diameter to be no larger than the cutting portion diameter. A situation like this may be important to you, so you might consider the differences between Irwin and The GearWrench set is still working great for me and I have some old taps that can pass right through the Big Gator tool just fine. Just thought I'd share this as an indication that this particular set is different from others.
