In short, yes. Our fleet of 30 triaxle trucks has been extended to their maximum legal length by extending each frame ourselves. Snap On makes great products, but I'm not sure how you manage to make them so cheap. I just wish they made chrome sockets because I wouldn't have to buy them.
It took me a while to realize I had requested the lock pin style but instead received the ball spring style.

To perform maintenance work on our vehicle, I purchased this item along with an IR231C. I completed all the work on the front struts, ball joints, and steering racks in two days These repair kits include all the joints, sway bar links, lower control arms, and tie rod ends you need. My nephew (who is a full time mechanic) even claimed this socket set is at least as good as his similar snap on sockets for a fraction of the cost. We put this set to a lot of use, and while they are now dirty, they are otherwise intact. I would like to mention one special thing In general, I'm not that concerned with the case part of a set like this, but I think the Sunex case is exceptional for the set as a whole. Furthermore, the front clasps on mine will catch enough just by lightly closing them to prevent accidental spillage of sockets if the set is tipped or kicked over. This saved me from having to chase sockets around my garage floor twice during those already stressful two days of There are pros The value of the case is exceptional
The case is super durable
The warranty is excellent
The case is great
The cons I found it hard to read the socket sizes on the printed labels, but they are stamped on the back so I guess it doesn't matter. Here's the problem. For my stamps, I plan to paint the white areas and wipe the resulting white areas so the stamped numbers can be read more easily.
I currently own the 3/8" and 1/2" sets, and I plan to soon purchase It is worth pointing out that the sizes printed on the sockets were designed for ants, but some people may find them appealing, as well as the fact that they are slightly thicker than the Matco ADV, but I have not had any problems so far. Whether you're a DIYer or a contractor, this 1/2" set is the only one.
I am pleased with the quality of this impact extension (I have not been dissatisfied with the quality of any of my other Sunex extensions so far) and the price was right. As the 36 inch length is the most important feature for me, I am certain it will be useful to me. Yet, based on the description of this extension, it appeared to have a "Locking Pin" to keep its socket in place. I was not provided with a locking pin for the extension that I received. Instead of this, it comes standard with a spring-loaded camera An internally loaded ball keeps the socket in place. As far as I can tell, the extension I received was from Amazon. We can provide a variety of information services, including . It does not appear that other sellers offer extension kits with locking pin retention devices however, I think this can be reported using the "report incorrect product information" link found on the product page, so perhaps it can be resolved.
Though I am not a professional mechanic, I do basic car maintenance at home (as well as sometimes on the cars of friends). On any of my three cars, I change the brake fluid for the most part once every year. I also change the summer and winter tires for the sportier car according to the season. Unfortunately, I do not have an Ugga- For the home mechanic who uses breaker bars and torque wrenches, these sockets have done well, but can't comment on how they stand up to everyday use with impact tools, but for the professional who sees them intermittently, they are perfect. If you need to pull the plastic sheath off, you can do it with little effort. socket holder that I received was very useful and a great way to keep these sockets together and away from my other sockets in the drawer instead of just rolling around.
The set has a wide variety of sizes to choose from. It seems they are holding up great, barely showing any signs of wear. I've had them for a few weeks now, and they are still in great shape. It is a nice case, but has a smaller footprint than the tool box I have. To keep the box under my workbench in case I ever need it, I found a way to stand them up in a row using one of the plastic holders. There are a few drawbacks, such as being smelly and difficult to clean off of the anti-rust oil. But I'm not going to complain as I would rather have oily and new sockets than dry and A small gripe I could have is that I think going down to 9mm is a little too small for a 1/2 drive. It would have been better for a size range to start at 13mm and go up The sockets might not be used by others, since they might be small enough to fit in my range of use. The only way I can reach something that small is with my 3/8 impact socket and impact. Despite the short list of complaints, it remains an excellent set, which I highly recommend.
Sockets are ok, but not as well built as the picture suggests. It may have been better to go with the Astro brand. I was extremely annoyed by the fact that the sockets for the 10mm and 11mm screws were loose in the package and that the rail attachment had broken off (probably dropped and broke in the package). The sockets were sitting on a rail while being shipped, so that rendered the rail useless. I did not return it because at the time I needed one of the sockets the following day for work and the way it was packaged - If the new one comes with a broken rail also, it would not surprise me. Feeling somewhat let down.
