DEWALT Drive Socket Set, SAE/Metric, 1/2-Inch, 23-Piece (DWMT73813)

Previously, I had said this in reviews of other Dewalt socket sets and I will repeat it here as well. Dewalt has been able to offer these really high-quality tools at such low prices that I am not sure how they have done it, but I am enjoying the experience. It's just that I want to pass on the whole collection since they're so special. You will get heavy duty stuff that clicks like a Shimano Ultregra cassette (in case you've never heard one before), all labelled up, comes in a sturdy case so nothing gets lost, and the price is about the lowest you'll This is as good as it gets. If you hold some of this stuff in your hand, it will make you smile.

This was a DIY quality 1/2" drive SAE and metric socket set that I was searching for. Due to the 1/2" drive being a larger ratchet, I needed the 6-in-one The point is over 12 Sockets with points (something to which it is possible to apply increased torque). It's been a year and a half, and I'm still in love with these! I've used them to pull heavy torque / breakers bar jobs, as well as to fix suspension So far, they are holding up well. With the socket I recently purchased, I also bought the metric and SAE deep sockets which came I think this is an amazing.

The quality of this set is excellent! I like this socket set very much! Over the weekends, I like to work on cars. In the event that I am able to fix something on my vehicle, I will do so. As a gift from my father, I have a set of craftsman 1/2" drive sockets and a wrench from the early 1900's. Most of the sockets in that set are 12 points instead of 6, which means some of the sockets were missing. This set is of good quality, but costs twice as much to replace as this one. There is no doubt that this set is just as good or perhaps even Despite their weight and quality, the wrench and socket are very sturdy. Because there are twice as many ratchet points on this ratchet than on my craftsman, it is more effective in tighter places. This set has a nice weight to it and gives you the sense that it is of high quality in your hands. In an August update, I would like to say that I continue to enjoy Despite the fact that this set is not rated for impact tools, I figured I would replace it if I broke it, and to my amazement, the hammers have held up well to all the abuse I have given them. Using the sockets with a Ryobi 1/2 impact wrench I have been able to remove rusty bolts both from lug nuts as well as other projects. This impact wrench puts out a lot of power, but I have had no issues with it. I would highly recommend it.

Although this set contains the most commonly used sockets in its drive range in shallow depth, I find it somewhat awkward to retrieve the sockets from the case at times, especially if you are using greasy hands, which you are apt to do with To help facilitate this task, a hand magnet can be stowed in the case.

Since B & D, I have avoided purchasing Dewalt power tools The excellent Dewalt radial arm saws were no longer made by D after it bought the name. A horizontal arm saw was an essential tool in every home and workshop back in the latter part of the 20th century, and with good reason. With the dewalt radial arm saw, you no longer need a table saw and a miter saw to replace it, and they are incapable of doing half as much as a good Dewalt. Then, I suppose B&W is correct The purpose of the name was to revive the reputation of the ailing B & D I was certainly satisfied with the results at the time. DeWALT tools are mostly good from what I've seen, but not all of them. They are usually overpriced, but they seem to achieve what they need Considering what you get, the price is fair. As a result of a misfortune, I had purchased a set of Hyper-Reflective Prosthetic I'm gonna have some tough sockets from you - Knowledge of - I bought them from a place I found and was quite satisfied as they were extremely cheap and looked excellent. Yet, after reading a few reviews, I read that the ratchet had malfunctioned. With out a ratchet, a set isn't very useful. With the $15 gift card I got from someone, I was able to upgrade to a better-known product, which was the DeWALT set. There are two more sockets and a longer extension, as well as a drill drive converter that can be very useful. appears it has a pretty good case that is supposed to be impact resistant, but my concerns are that this case is not secure. A little delicate looks to be the hinge. An example of a blow-up Although mold cases might be more durable, they are not as beautiful as plastic ones. In addition to being useful, I especially value appearance and look at my automotive tools more than I actually use them. In my day to day life, I tend to be more of a carpenter. It's the was not a case, it was more or less a holder that didn't hold firmly the ratchet. My recommendation is to go with the Dewalt, unless you are quite strapped for cash.

To me, dewalt sockets are as good as Snap-On, they are remarkably smooth, have small indentations that help you grasp each socket so you can use your fingers to spin them, and are about the same price as Kobalt crap or Husky. I switched over from my old crapsman sockets to these and they are made to be easier to read and a really nice set. I have three 200 pc sets, one for each vehicle, and they are wonderful and keep everything together.
