What is the warranty period, and where is it manufactured?

The warranty is something I don't recall. Taiwan is the country where it is produced.

Is there a thin wall on the 22mm?

Set is good, and the case is of good quality
5/5

Set is good, and the case is of good quality. Before purchasing the case, I looked everywhere for a picture of the inside layout, but I couldn't find one. Regardless, I decided to take a chance and place an order. Not once did I feel let down. I figured I'd leave a review and include some photos of the case open and tools stowed.

It's not exactly snappy, but it gets the job done
5/5

Two front 02 sensors had to be replaced. Using this set, the first one was a breeze to make. br>br>It took me two hours to get rid of the second 02 It had never been replaced in the previous 200 thousand miles. It was difficult, to say the least. This tool is functional, but it began to strip the 02 sensor and the head rounded off. br>br>I had to come to a halt, apply penetrating oil, and then turn off the machine. Allow 20 minutes to pass. It'd move an inch, then stop, lube, and do it all over again. br>br>I was really worried it wasn't going to work out. To avoid stripping heads, I believe this tool kit's tolerance should be tighter. I'm giving it five stars because, in the end, this tool was able to extract it.

It's a good kit for 02 sensors, but it worried me the first two times I used it, but it worked out in the end
4/5

My car is a 2005 Cadillac Tahoe. I had a caddy with an 02 error when I got the kit, so I went under the car and attempted to remove it. I tried to break it free but was unable to do so because the sockets were opening up, causing the sensor bolt base to be stripped. I didn't have a torch with me at the time, and I was concerned that I was about to exacerbate the problem. br>br>Now for our Tahoe, I got the upstream passenger side sensor and heated it up with a MAP torch. I managed to get the sockets into the area and attempted to free it. I figured I'd need a torch to fix this sensor because it was original. I was able to turn the socket about half a turn before it became stuck. There's a lot of PB Blaster in this one, as well as a lot of heat. It was still not allowing me to expand my range. Then I was able to push it a little harder as I grew tired of being stuck in this zone. It popped free after about an hour of back and forth effort, but the threads on the sensor were gone. If you're reading this, you should get a thread chaser. br>br>The sensor replacement says 35 ftlbs, so I can't say for sure if the socket is opening up once you apply a lot of force to it. It's possible that all you have to do is use a torch and wait for the sensor to strip out as you remove it. I was able to get it out, but the sensor edges of the base were rounded quite a bit, which terrified me. In the end, everything came together. After two sensor attempts, I think I have a better idea of what to expect and how long it will take to get these done. br>br>I hope that this information is useful to others who are attempting similar tasks.

For the money, this is a great sensor socket set! This kit includes a wide range of sensor sockets that you'll need
5/5

They're made out of Cr-based materials. They're in the shape of a V, so they should be able to withstand any impact wrenches. Cr- Although Mo would have been preferable, these should hopefully last a long time. I did notice that one of the crow foot type sockets had an 8-inch diameter. So you should be able to get a good fit in those tight spots thanks to the point connection. So far, there have been no issues!.

Coolant temperature sensor 4 is one of many sensors that can be removed
4/5

Chevy Trailblazer with a 2 liter engine. January 2020 is the most recent update. I've changed multiple oxygen sensors, temperature sensors, and oil pressure sensors with the sockets included in this kit. This is a fantastic kid who is well worth the money. Original review: August 2018. br>I bought it in the hopes of replacing a coolant temperature sensor on a Chevy Trailblazer 4. 2 l. That sensor's socket was not included in this kit. There are a lot of options in this set, including oxygen sensors, oil pressure sensors, and other temperature sensors. Unfortunately, it did not work for my application; however, I have kept it and will most likely use it elsewhere.

Longevity warranty, nice thickness, no sharp or rough edges Before I bought it, I read some reviews that said it was made of CR-80
5/5

Why? These sockets are not designed to withstand an impact. CR- V is actually more difficult and costly than CR- Mo is a great material for non-flammable applications. These impact sockets are a good example. CR- is the biggest of the sockets. These sockets are likely to withstand impact, but they aren't impact rated. Before you complain, make sure you have a basic understanding of what you're buying. These are excellent. br>br> While the average home user is unlikely to use these items on a regular basis, you never know when you'll need them. I compared the quality of the GM oil pressure sending socket to that of a Lisle equivalent, and the GM one was significantly superior. The Lisle socket is functional, but it has rough and sharp edges on the inside, whereas the Gearwrench socket is well-made and was actually less expensive when price-per-unit is taken into account. socket. The lifetime warranty adds to the sense of security. br>br>I'm pleased with these in general. I'll update my review if I have a problem with the longevity of the product.

quality, value, and a well-known brand are all important factors to consider
5/5

This is a very nice set. When you consider the price I paid and the lifetime warranty, it's a five-star value. It has a 4 star rating. Except for the largest, which is Chrome Moly, all of the sockets are CrV. All Chrome Moly is what I would have preferred. One of the socket openings/grooves was not properly finished. I needed to grind off a sharp metal burr. Another socket opening for your ratchet anvil was in good working order but had some marks on it. br>br>An identical set can be found elsewhere, but it does not come with a lifetime warranty. GearWrench is well worth the money on sockets like these that are prone to breaking. The best price I've found for the complete set, which will cover the majority of applications on just about any make and model from the last 20 years or so.

It is critical to have the appropriate tool for the job
5/5

These are quality tools, unlike the cheap tools you can get from a parts store in a pinch, or the cheap chinesium stuff you might find on Amazon. That's exactly what GearWrench has become known for. br>br>With the help of a breaker bar, I was able to remove a difficult oxygen sensor. The bar was bending and the exhaust system was flexing, but the tool stood firm - There isn't even a smidgeon of doubt in my mind. I've had less than stellar results with less expensive versions of the tool and flare wrenches, and those results were disappointing. Bending tools, rounded sensors, torches, and so on. br>br>If you need a good set of tools to remove and install sensors and sending units, look no further. I assure you - especially at such a low cost - that the end result will satisfy you.
