The heavy duty 6 point socket is made of high quality materials to ensure quality performance. The steel is of high quality and the finish is excellent. These are Dewalt tools made in Taiwan, so they should last a long time because they adhere to the company's strict It seems from my experience as someone who has bought tools from Taiwan, Taiwan seems to be able to produce better quality hand tools than those made in mainland China. I cannot really explain it but from the few tools I have bought from Obviously, I would rather have it say MADE IN USA and I would gladly pay the premium to do so.
