My ring is currently 36 mm in diameter. It's a little out of round, but it ought to be close. An outer diameter of 5mm.
Nowhere near six inches in length, my estimate would be about three As far as I know, I have never seen a socket that It might be possible to extend the deadline.
The top part doesn't go all the way up, but it is fully functional in its lowest position There is a gap of 1/2" between the socket and the wall of I hope you have found that to be adequate.
first get about an inch of flats, then you have about a 3/4 inch diameter hole until the end. The length is 2 inches, and the flats are 1 and 5/16 inches.

With respect to the socket in question, there is nothing wrong. In an attempt to find a socket that fits a rheem hot water heater anode rod bolt in order to replace it, this is the third socket I have purchased. The bolt of the anode rod will not grip when I use one and one sixteenth screws, 26 mm or 27 mm sockets, short sockets or deep sockets. I have a Rheem water heater with an anode rod that is cut about an inch into the anode rod bolt. Many sockets are too large to slide into the recessed areas because their outer diameter is too large. It's narrow enough to fit into the recessed area and it's an impact socket, which means it can withstand the stress when using an impact wrench. It's also a deep socket, although I don't think the anode rod is recessed enough to require one. As far as I can remember, Rheem will go to great lengths to force consumers to schedule an appointment with a rheem repairman for something as simple as unscrewing and replacing an It does not make sense on this planet to make the outer diameter of the recessed area so narrow that a standard socket most people have in their garage would not Why did they go to such lengths to make such an inaccessible recess in the rod bolt for the anode rod? Neither the cold water intake nor the hot water output is recessed, so why did they even bother to make such a difficult recess?.
Having trouble with a water heater in a previous house made me reluctant to go through it again after moving to this one, so I came up with some ideas on Additionally, I wanted to install a new anode along with the heating elements. As soon as I failed with the socket wrench method, I conducted some research and found impact wrenches to be In knowing that my Makita's battery powered socket adapter was not compatible with this socket, I ordered a set to fit. On the day it arrived, I think I tried the combo for the first time. It was quite discouraging to watch the old anode rod not move at all during the first few attempts. With my 5-inch socket set and a short break, I tried loosening the bolt until it finally came loose Then it began moving at intervals of a second or two! The moment I saw her I was so excited! In neither the socket nor the adapter was there any signs of wear. In addition, this device saved me a lot of money because I did not have to call someone else (or fix things that other methods broke).
However, it was worn down and I needed to replace it. Our water heater went down in the middle of the night, so I had to replace the anode rod. Although the water heater was strapped down and laid on the floor, I could not apply enough torque in order to remove the old anode. I used a cheater bar with my wrench but was still not able to remove the anode. However, the socket proved to be serviceable and was deep enough to reach the recessed head of the anode bolt.
Using this, I was able to loosen a rusted, tight bolt quite easily and ended up using a ratchet with a long handle for lots of leverage to achieve success.
There is no doubt that this socket will last for a long time. With it I put more than 400ft/lbs of torque and no signs of stress or cracking occurred. Having a 1/2" drive makes this tool work with the most common impact guns. The deep walls will also let you reach nuts already threaded down on bolts without having to remove them. Product reviews of this product have always been positive, and I would recommend it to anyone.
". There is no such thing. The walls are very thin and it is shallow. The gun is probably weak and short. I ordered it to replace my short 1 1/16 because it was too short, and this one is even shorter than my old one.
Thank you for the socket, I was glad it worked as expected. The job was made easier by the system.
The socket is perfect. There is a tight fit between the socket and the bolt head, and it is heavy enough so that it will not snap under torque (unlike many inexpensive sockets). The price is fair for such a single socket, but since it IS a specialty tool (there is only one use for this size), a tool of this quality should be expected to be so. You won't be disappointed with your decision to buy this socket if you need one. It is made to last under heavy use and abuse.
