I was able to squeeze them and they broke the first time. The item was returned and I would not purchase it
There is no use for these. Their construction is so poor that they fall apart when you pick them up. Even the end that is supposed to be fixed is not welded in The hole is peened with a peening gun. breaks within a few uses, and the wear wears out after that. Your money will be better spent.
In short, yes. It has been 2 years since I purchased 4 WEN clamps. I have had no issues. These track saws fit my Dewalt track saw perfectly. It is the same clamps that I have had with my friend, so I have compared them. This new model of Dewalt clamp is not as well-made as the WEN clamp, and the handle of the Dewalt clamp is backward in orientation!

Before the clamps broke, I managed to make two cuts with them. The only thing I did was let them go There was a pop, and then the top of the one fell off. When I tried to put the other one on, it also broke! It is really frustrating to experience this, since a few minutes after this, the Wen saw would not Yeah, that's what I mean. In regards to this company, I am not reassured.
In the past I have owned their 2k generator, drill press, and track saw, all of which I found to be excellent. It is a classic example of Chinese crap that is at the top of its price range. The top metal clamp on the top of our first cutting failed to hold after three or four cuts, according to my wife, who isn't a big woman. It seems that this is the most common problem with them. There are only a few small welds holding them together. As an interim solution while waiting for my Dewalt clamps to arrive from Amazon, I will attempt to JB weld it back. I would advise you to avoid this person! There is nothing good about these things.
The clamps are installed in a channel with a bottom on A guide track is supposed to remain stationary at all times, so these devices ensure that it does not shift. It is better to keep it than to get rid of it You don't need to worry about on-going maintenance, just keep the skid tape clear of dust and debris. It is possible without clamps to cut 70" long pieces of 34" plywood. Because I had been thinking that they were an important part of the system that I had forgotten to order along with the saw and track, I ordered them. I think they work just fine, and they provide a nice confidence boost for the track system as well. Learning how to use the release mechanism can take a little time The term "used-" It's easy to use once you're familiar with it, but it's not as robust as it could be. Despite the fact that they aren't really needed, they are worth their cost for the price paid.
I have to agree that the clamp is flimsy and lacks much holding power, as I would expect at this price The second one. As a result of the tab sticking out of the end, it can't be used for tables with dog holes. Tracks are the only types that it can be used for. Most of the other track clamps in the market can be used in more than one way You can use them to secure a dog hole or as a hold down. 1. 2. 3. While they are inexpensive and the quick clamp seems cool, I'd rather buy a cheap traditional type with the screw guide so that you must screw it down and release it again with the screw guide. You get more strength, more versatility as a hold down, and they're also inexpensive. For 31 dollars, I bought two packs of powertec. Their price is 99 cents and they are wonderful. The fourth paragraph. Among the Festool tools I own, I like the ratcheting type best, but they are expensive. That was just something I thought you might find interesting. When it comes to budget, Powertec screw guides are my favorite. However, Festool ratcheting are awesome when it comes to convenience/quality.
They are a pleasure to use. I have used them with Powertec rails and they are just great. The pros are It is easy to use
It opens wide
It holds tightly
It has the following cons There is an issue with the release or is it in the best place
I understand how these could be broken as they are just to secure the tracks. It is likely that if someone breaks these, any other track clamp would also be broken, with the exception of Festool clamps. However, they would still pay a much higher price and treat them in the same way as if they had.
You can slide them to whatever length you need, without being constrained by the length of the track. They slide into the underside of the tracks. I would caution you One of these clamps had a slight radius that made it difficult to insert. My anvil was next to it, so I hit it a few times with my body hammer, and it seemed to straighten out quite They cost about $15 per set of two, which isn't as costly as other track clamps that did not fit the track and were much more expensive. The Kreg Accu-Fence System is a great value at this price, as it allows for accurate piloting Two can be cut side by side on a single cutting system A pair of side clamps on each end. It is important to attach the system correctly in order to avoid slipping and subsequent inaccuracies in cutting. A polymer cap covers the bottom of the clamps to ensure they remain in place.
Having bought these for my WEN track saw rails, they work flawlessly. Even though there are more expensive ones on the market, if you're only using these to clamp track saw rails then there is no need for more expensive ones as you won't need a lot of clamping force. If you buy an expensive one that has more clamping pressure, it is a waste of money (because, ideally, you would not use those more clamping pressures).
There's nothing special about these clamps, they're just your average clamp that's sold under a ton of labels with a piece of flat bar attached to After that is done I get it taken care of and when the first noticeable amount of pressure was being applied the piece that slides into the t slot of a track saw No penetration has been detected in the welds. There was just a strip of paint holding it together.
