Questions & Answers
They do come with a set of small plastic clips that last for about ten seconds. Between the clamp and the work surface, I simply place a small piece of stock.
These aren't exactly theses; they have a thin rubber on both sides, but nothing special. Your best bet is to make one to suit your needs.
The heads are identical, but the lengths are as specified.

I was extremely sceptical. They don't have any names on them. They are of the same brand as the rest of my bar clamps, and they are reasonably priced. I honestly didn't have high hopes. However, I am overjoyed that I purchased these. They're easier to use and have a higher quality feel to them than any of my other bar clamps. The simple mechanism for moving the clamp up and down the bar is effective and durable. When you turn the handle, the entire clamp does not shift around on your workpiece like some other brands do. I'd like to buy another set because they look and feel so good. I'm just waiting for a project that will make it worthwhile. I think these will last a long time, and I really like them.
I was looking for more bar clamps when I found these. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot. I was taken aback, to say the least. It was such a good deal. If I had one complaint, it would be the cheap pads that came with them. This isn't a problem for me because I replace them with ones I make from popular sources. I was so taken with them that I went out and purchased a second set. I am definitely going to buy more!.
These are good bar clamps; I've used them several times for cutting board glue ups and they've performed admirably; the only minor criticism I have is that the smooth wooden handles are difficult to get a good grip on when tightening or loosening. I put them to the ultimate test by tightening the handle with a pair of pliers, and they held, albeit with a bend in the bar, but I definitely pushed these past their intended limits. The small plastic jaw covers are a pain to keep track of; they keep falling off and it's nearly impossible to keep track of them; they might have been designed only for shipping.
They're quite small, and there's not a lot of room to grip wood with them. DeWalt quick release is one of my favorite tools. Despite the fact that they're made of wood, cast metal, and steel, they're a little light for serious woodworking. They'd be fantastic if the heads were larger and had a quick release mechanism.
I'm not sure what these glowing reviews are for, but they're clearly not coming from woodworkers. br>br>These are the most ineffective clamps I've ever encountered. Even if they weren't bent when they arrived, it wouldn't make a difference. There isn't any compelling reason to use these. The caps are flimsy and fall off easily. I run a custom woodworking shop, and I can't say enough about how bad these are. If you're serious about woodworking, you won't want to buy these.
They're of good quality, and I'm confident that they'll last a long time.
Nothing like a clamp breaking during a glue up. . . I managed to get four glue ups out of them. . . the locking keys are cheap metal. Expect to get what you pay for here. . . don't expect too much and don't go bigger than 24" because the backbone will deflect a lot. Bora is the way to go if you're looking for a good time.
