Other than contacting the manufacturer, I do not know where replacement pads can be obtained. Alternatively, you might consider using CA (cyanoacrylate, "crazy") glue to attach a piece of cork or other cushioning material to this area.

As soon as I received my order, I found clamps zip-tied together between the pieces. A few days after my Amazon order, I went to the local Blue Box store and found the Jorgensen clamps there to be significantly cheaper. As a result, I ordered a few more sets of these from their website (not available in stores). I was surprised to see my package was in a retail cardboard factory package as opposed to the one I received from Amazon. With more clamps to compare, I noticed that the clamps that I ordered from Amazon had also been damaged. The clamps were missing the grooves that were machined into the backs I thought if by design the clamps were supposed to be there by now, but they were not. While not a huge deal, the clamps still worked, however this bothered me. It's obvious that this has to reduce the holding power in some way. I received four clamps in addition to the eight I requested The 3712 number and the number four A 3706 with all 4 rows Two sets of 3712 and 2, respectively Despite faulty clamps, Jorgensen Customer Service is unparalleled. The reason I have given this a high rating is that Jorgensen's products are top-of-the-line. In exchange, these clamps will be exchanged completely free of charge, and the defective clamps will be disposed of.
The jaw pads of these clamps are ridiculous because they are made from PLASTIC. Once the deform has been removed, it will slide off the ring It is useless. Why didn't they have rubber pads on this clamp, as all decent clamps do? I am so tired of buying products in which the manufacturers don't care about minor details, making a product that may otherwise have been excellent Let me now make a non-ethnic version of it When I slip the pads out of the shelf liner, I wonder if they shouldn't be working right A round lower plate with an irregular shape is also.
This jaw clamp sheered and broke in two the first time it was used. light-duty clamps rated for 300lb on that project and had no problems, so it was unlikely that the clamp was overstressed. ) Most often, this is due to a defect in the steel at the point of stress or by a manufacturing defect. Manufacturers offer warranties for this reason. I contacted Jorgensen through the "contact us" feature on their website to ask for a We did not receive any Additionally, there is no information on how to file a warranty claim on the website. Three other clamps continue to work fine, so I am continuing to use them as well. This type of clamp is now being manufactured abroad, so there will be no local purchases Purchasing this domain will give you an advantage in the United States. There is no excuse for poor customer service therefore, I suggest that you consider the German competitor as an effective alternative of similar quality.
I have used these clamps a couple times and they have been excellent. This clamping mechanism is really solid, and they release really easily. The latching mechanism has very little flex, and it clamps really tightly to the bar. As I clamped them to some poplar, no impression was left, as I have had problems with the cheaper versions in the past. I'm pleased with how it turned out Additionally, you do not get black grease on your hands from the computer. Considering the cost of these clamps, they are not the cheapest ones out there, but if you are looking for something that will last you for a long time, these are a great choice.
It is pointless to use the pads that come with the clamp. I have applied pleasure to the clamp and the rubber pads are slipping of the clamp. This product states that it is medium duty with a 600 lb maximum load, but I found that it was not true, now I have to use wood to stop the indents on my projects so as not to damage them.
There are solid metal clamps, and the set works well. The only complaint I have is one mentioned by some others. They are useless, as they are made of cheap plastic. In my opinion, it would be preferred if the clamps included non-stick pads (I had mys removed) orsome good, sturdy rubber pads.
They work fine otherwise, with the exception of one of them locking up when the release is pressed, so sometimes it needs to be adjusted with a mallet, but other than that, they're a worthy.
When excess wood glue drips on them, they are easy to wipe clean.
Each ratcheting mechanism contains such a tight spring, it may be difficult to fully open the door (just means that it should last This is possible. Please note There are (2) pairs of them You should buy the items if the price fits your budget. There is nothing to be disappointed with.
Grab these. As far as clamps are concerned, I started out These were almost too cheap. I had a dozen of them I once bought a set of harbor freight hand squeeze clamps which were easy to use, but broke after only After eight of them, I was able to save up for something a little bit While these clamps require two hands to use, they provide much more clamping pressure and do not brake when it's closed. I rely so heavily on clamps of this kind and use them all the time. The pipe and strap clamps I have at my disposal make me feel ready for most any woodworking task that requires more than one hand.
