On wood, I don't even think it would work well. I bought this because I thought it would help me save money, but in the end I ended up having to buy an electric saw that cost just a few bucks more, but did the trick. A 2 inch high, 32 inch long and 20 inch wide durable rubber ramp was what I got this to cut through. Oh my god. While I am not sure what I was thinking, I went off of the reviews and honestly thought this would get the job done, but boy oh boy was I mistaken. A quarter of an inch came from the first wide part of the ramp, which took me 45 minutes just to cut through. In other words, if I had tried to cut that rubber ramp with the hand saw, I would have been there hours and hours. I expected a saw with thin and sharp teeth, but the teeth are thick and thick. To me, it was a waste of money but if I had used it for something lighter, maybe it would have been As far as I was concerned, I lost.
This hand saw makes the job of cutting wood easier and faster. There is no play in the cut surface, and the lock is tight. Because it is light weight and takes up little space to store, it is easy to carry. I think it's totally worth it for this price.
I feel as though it may not stand up in the field we will see how it does. It may break quite easily if you drop it a lot. ABS plastic may break and needs to be handled with care. So far I haven't tried it, but I am curious about how it will hold The money is worth it to carry it with you. Cutting 3 inches diameter won't be a problem with this cutter. It's good to have in the bush for firewood.
It is small enough to fit into a This product has a durable locking tab that even allows you to operate it while wearing This folding saw would be suitable for bushcraft or survival use as an entry level folding saw because of the blade length.
The screws holding the blade are loose after tightening them, the blade still has a lot of play in it, it is This is a very unstable and unsafe situation.
In order to trim a tree that was beginning to look like a bush, I got this saw. I thought it might not work because it is such a light weight saw. My bad. I'd been wrong all along! I was thrilled with how it worked. Now that I have a tree in the front yard, I feel more at peace.
For branches too thick for a clipper, this was perfect. I do not like power tools, so this was a great tool. It was easy to cut and didn't require a lot of muscle.
It works well.
