In spite of that, it worked so well. Blades can be closed or opened by means of a lock on the saw. I am amazed at how sharp the teeth are on the saw! After cutting through this limb for a few minutes with a saw, it was about the size of a book. I was a little concerned when the blade was closed because it rattled a little and seemed loose. However, it stayed closed just fine.
