This plant tape has been a favorite of mine for years; it stretches and holds your plants securely to a stake. It's what I use to safely stake my plants all the time.

The tape is extremely thin and prone to tearing. We'd have to start over because the tape kept tearing while we were tying it in place. Then, just a few days after tying the plants in place, we discovered that two of them had already broken their tape. To complete our project, we've decided to buy a different brand.
I was surprised by what I discovered. I expected it to snap or stretch and become useless after a few months in the southern heat and thunderstorms, but it's still going strong after two months. The trees seem to be enjoying themselves. I don't see myself replacing the ties I have on there more than once a year, if that, in order to allow the tree to grow properly and tie it off where needed.
Over the rope, I really like this tape. It allows the tree to grow while also ensuring that the tree's bark is not damaged in the event of a windstorm. It does not, for example, cause rubbing scars. Great product; I've bought it at least twice, if not three times, and it stands up to the heat and sun in south Texas admirably. After a year and a half, it's still going strong! Manufacturer, keep up the good work.
Being able to order this and have it be of the same high quality as in stores saves so much time. It may be difficult to locate in stores, or the material may have been exposed to the elements. This material was as pliable as any I've ever purchased while also being extremely strong. I'm looking forward to using it.
The product does exactly what it claims to do: it keeps plants attached to trellises and cages. My only complaint is that I expected a more stretchy nylon mesh material. The less flexible plastic tape can sometimes damage stems and vines, whereas a stretchier nylon would not.
This is exactly what I needed to keep my larger plants and tree tethered to the stake. Seller is quick to respond.
It is durable, and the sun or weather have no effect on the material's integrity. Furthermore, unlike fabric, it does not retain moisture. You don't have to be concerned about mold or fungus growing on it because it's made of silicone. br>I experimented with the half-and-half method. It comes in a one-inch version, but it isn't strong enough to support tomato vines. It's simpler and quicker to use, so it'll suffice for simple tasks.
It stands the test of time. When I ordered it, I was concerned about the strength, but the thickness is satisfactory. The tape is extremely strong and can be used to hold tree branches in place if necessary.
