Questions & Answers

Why is it that the price of these keeps fluctuating so much? They were 11 three days ago. They started out at 00 and are now 17 years old. 00 What the hell is going on?

This product is available from a number of different sellers, each of whom is free to set their own price. The clips sold by the lower-cost vendors were most likely out-of-date. You only saw the more expensive sellers/offers because there were fewer in stock.

Is it possible to use garden stakes with these?

They're used to support roses in my garden. They'll work as long as the diameter of the garden stake is right.

Is it possible for them to decompose in the environment?

They're not made of wood, but of plastic. They're re-usable and should last a long time.

These are the pinnacle of the genre
5/5

I believe I've ordered a few of each of the clear-plastic bags. white ones, with a wide range of outcomes. It's a 50:50 chance that I'll have to relocate any of them. There's a 50/50 chance I'll be able to get them out alive - I'll have to cut them if I don't do so. br>br>On the other hand, these are always the same. They're easy to put together and take apart. I'm almost done with the first 100 and have yet to encounter a difficult one.

Soft ties, Velcro ties, and Twist ties are superior to twine, soft ties, and Velcro ties
5/5

These have become my new favorite gardening tool! Better than twine because you don't need scissors to reposition it, and you don't have to cut or untie it. Soft ties, which are great for larger plants but can be heavy, are a better alternative. Plants that are young and fragile are weighed down. Because there are no scissors involved, it's better than Velcro. They can be used over and over again. Velcro, I've discovered, can become brittle over time. After a year in the sun, it must be discarded. Twist ties, on the other hand, necessitate cutting and, due to their thin wires, are easily damaged by plants. The brown color is also one of my favorites. It doesn't draw attention to itself, so it doesn't take away from your plants' beauty. At the same time, when you check your plants to make sure nothing needs to be repositioned, it's easy to see. Unsnap, move, snap when it comes to repositioning. It only takes a minute and a half! Finally, there's the cost: $100 for $9! This is fantastic, especially since they can be reused. If you're undecided about which tying option to choose, just order these. I wasted an absurd amount of time reading reviews before giving up and making the dumbest decision of my life: one of everything! However, when faced with a variety of options, I always choose these.

Nicde in every way
5/5

For years, I've used this particular clip on my greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers. Because they break over time, it was time to get some new ones this year, and I took a look at the many options available. These weren't the cheapest, but they came highly recommended, so I decided to give them a shot. I received them and am extremely pleased with them; they appear to be very similar to the ones I've been using and reusing for the past five years. The lock is secure but easy to open for reuse or repositioning, and it has been in use for 6 years. It's impossible to discuss the massive hi-def monitor. These don't have the high-definition screen or the incredible sound, but they do a fantastic job for what they are.

These clips appear to be made of a better plastic than the semi-rigid ones, which is good quality for the price
5/5

Those that are obvious. There were no broken pieces, and it came with 108 pieces instead of the 100 advertised. They have two plastic tabs at the hinge that make them better for twine attachment, whereas the semi-rigid ones don't. The clear ones, on the other hand, do not. You can get 300 pieces of the semi-finished product for an extra dollar. Due to missing or broken pieces, the actual count is closer to 290 clips. Currently, I'm just clipping vines/stems to bamboo stakes or wire fencing, so I'm not using twine. The inner diameter is approximately 1 inch, and the cost was $10 at the time of purchase. I don't know how long either will last, but I did a simple twist test on the hinge and it passed. If you're going to use twine, these (brown) are a good choice; otherwise, the semi-gloss is a better option. Clips that are transparent.

Clips made of twine These are exactly what they claim to be
5/5

These are exactly what they claim to be. Clips made of twine They keep a firm grip on the twine and do not sway up and down. To hold a lot of tomatoes, you'll need a large study. (The closer the clips are spaced, the more tomatoes on the vine there are. ) There has never been a time when I didn't have to work. They're simple to take down at the end of the season and put away for next year. The clear ones appear to be one-season use only; by the end of the year, they become brittle. These clips span a period of two years. or even more than that They've made me very happy.

These are the ones that must be purchased
5/5

These are a lot more powerful than the other brands. They're also a little bigger so you can use them to clip a branch to a trellis instead of using a string. They are also superior to other brands when used with string/garden twine because the little teeth are larger and the hinge is built better, allowing you to clasp the string/twine with one hand, as intended. You can also open and reposition the clip as needed because the hinge is so much better. Okay, I don't think any of that makes much sense unless you've tried this style of clip before. I am aware that I purchased both of these (the terra cotta/brown ones) and the other brands (any clear/white/large package at a low price) and that there is no competition. Even if the price makes it seem like you're squandering your money, buy these.

Simply put, if you're buying clear tomato clips, you should stop buying them right now
5/5

You will not be able to use them again. For a long time, I had been purchasing clear plastic clips. But I kept finding them in my compost bin, in the soil, or unable to remove them from the plant, so I clipped them off and discarded them. I felt bad about throwing the plastic away. It's simple to put on and take off these brown plastic clips. Because of their brown color, they are easy to spot if they fall to the ground. But, best of all, they're fairly durable, and I'll be able to re-use them year after year. So spend a little more on these and keep them forever, which is my goal with any plastic product. I use them on my tomatoes, zinnias, cucumbers, and other vegetables.

The best garden accessory of all time! There's no need to waste time wrapping twine around tomato plants
5/5

Simply run a single length of twine from the top of the trellis to the ground, then clip these around the twine and the stalk. It was a little more expensive than other brands I looked at, but the reviews said they broke easily, and many of them had already been broken out of the package. These appear to be extremely durable, and I anticipate using them for many years. This is by far the best method for tying up tomatoes that I've tried over the years, and I liked them so much that I bought another pack of 100 a few weeks later.
