I'm not sure what gauge it is. However, traditional twist ties, such as those found on bread loaves, are not recommended.

Oh boy. It's all over now. I'm not sure why I haven't done it before. Make a precise cut to the length you require. Because it's plastic coated, twisting it takes a little more effort because it's slick, but it works and the wire inside is quite strong. If you're working with plants, take care not to cut them - I used it to tame some cords that had become tangled behind something. I'd like to see it in both white and black. There's no need to look for a wire cutter because the cutter works flawlessly every time. I'm sure I'll use it for years, so it was well worth the money. My opinion is that this is a win-win situation.
Simply pull down, place the size of the piece you want in the middle of the metal, and you'll hear a quick easy snip, and you'll have the size you want in your hand - so much better than having hundreds of small pieces of ties all over and in one bag - This product allows all of the ties to be on one spool, resulting in a no-mess, no-fuss, and easy-to-store product!.
The first time I used it, it broke. The plastic pieces first failed, and then I dropped it about three times by accident. I took the ties from the other end, which has been a pain because I have to cut the tie backwards and undo about 2x the amount vs how it should be from the front where it just comes out of the hole, and it split open completely so that the twist tie part fell out and rendered the outside useless aside from the cutting part. now I take the ties from the other end, which has been a pain because I have to cut the tie backwards and undo about 2x the amount If the plastic used to hold it together was of higher quality, I would buy it again. This should never have happened in the first place.
Previously, I had used a reeled twist tie, but it would quickly spin back into the reel! This one, on the other hand, bends backwards almost instantly to avoid backlash. I use these to attach an information marker to seedlings by looping them around the Daylily fan. I use an info label to keep track of the seeds in seedling pods. Thank you so much for making such a fantastic product!.
It's too good to be true, and you get what you pay for in this case. The wire is as thin as hair and must be wound at least twice or three times to keep it in place. Don't throw your money away. It's not worth my time to go back to Amazon for $7. I recommend spending a little extra money on a "heavy duty" twist tie.
For everything I've used it for, it's been fantastic. This is something I use a lot in my garden, and it's taken me the better part of the summer to finish. The only thing I don't like about it is that the wire can twist up on itself inside the spool from time to time, but this isn't a big enough issue to detract from how great it is otherwise. I would definitely recommend it!.
Because the plastic holder won't stay closed, the wire becomes unwound, making it difficult to continue pulling out a section without it becoming tangled.
I used to train espalies by tying them to bamboo stakes. On the package, there is a heavy-duty clipper that is also simple to use. Bring it to the garden with you at all times. Our sun and heat have no effect on it.
