extremely deceiving.
This was purchased to secure some newly planted trees to stakes. This material isn't very strong, and after a few days of wind, it had stretched to the point where it couldn't hold the tree in place. It appears to be a T-shirt. A long strip of material that looks like a shirt. It's probably fine for holding a tomato plant or other light material, but it's not ideal for trees.
My grape vines will be tied with this biostretch tie until they reach the desired height. It's incredibly simple to use and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals. It's not harmful to the plants, and they simply fall off after six months, so there's no need to keep checking and manually removing them from the vines. Much safer for the vines than other products I've used; it won't harm new growth while still providing adequate support; and it can be tailored to your specific needs. biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and plant-friendly.
We placed a 5-foot bamboo stick in the middle of the table. 6 ft tall into the ground beside the tree, cut this to go around the tree and the stick, and tie it into a knot, it works great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs it to keep their trees in place and prevent them from leaning.
These are what I'm using to train the branches of a Japanese maple tree. They've been in place for about 5 months and are still holding their shape. More importantly, the delicate bark shows no signs of rubbing or damage. This is a fantastic solution!.
Cutting the material, tightening and tying it off with tree supports, and reusing it are all simple tasks. Because the fabric is stretchy, it is less likely to cut into the growth and can deteriorate gradually without harming the plants. These will be ordered as needed.
It was exactly what I was looking for. It's a branchy plant with a lot of flexibility. The material is also biodegradable.
Unfortunately, it's a bit windy where we live, and I've had to cut sunflower stocks in half with a twine saw. This material stretches, allowing plants to move with the wind and grow without causing stock to gouge or break. It's also biodegradable, which I think is fantastic. It has provided me with exactly what I required throughout the summer. I'm going to order more so that I can have it in the spring of next year.
