Velcro, as well as wire ties and duck tape, are very useful! This product's uses continue to astound me. It holds carpet cleaning hoses, for example. Gear ties hold my kayak paddles to roof rack travel a lot holds my gun to for wheeler and are silent! 5 stories up 100 lbs or so and last longer than the Velcro hooks we used in the past! I hope this information is helpful; if not, order a small multi-size pack; you will not be disappointed.

One of the ties wasn't included in the package when it arrived. Unfortunately, it was one of the larger ones, which was why I originally ordered it. I needed them quickly and couldn't find a package that included all 18" ties, so I had to settle for these. When I contacted customer service about replacing the missing one, they acknowledged my request but did not follow up. I had to make due with what I had, so I won't be able to return them without packaging. br>The ties are made of low-cost materials. br>Because the outer surface is more plastic than rubber, unlike similar ones I've used in the past, they don't hold things as well unless you tie them really tight, which is difficult because they're almost slippery. And, more importantly, are you serious? Ties that are 3" long? The size of these ties is ridiculous. It's completely pointless. I feel ripped off because one of the only sizes I needed was missing from the package, and customer service was completely unresponsive.
I'd say the most useful sizes for travel/hiking/backpacking are 18" 12" (doubled over they're half that length). The 6" are probably only useful for ties for bread bags. I can't think of a reason why the 2" would be useful. I purchased these from an Amazon warehouse and was shorted one of them, despite the fact that they are supposed to inspect the package. However, it turns out that it was not a waste of time. br>br>What I like about the gearties is that they are truly bendable and can be re-used over and over again. bendable. They will return to their original shape after being bent a thousand times. br>br>I bought these because my backpack is missing (for some reason?). For a bedpad, there are straps. I can wrap the 18" around a bedroll by cobbling it together with the pack's other straps and clasps. The rest I just tossed in my pack in case you need them on the trail for whatever reason - keeping food in a sealed container? Is it possible to fix something quickly? Is there anything you can do with a little MacGyver?.
Larger padlocks were used as hooks to hang light items from wire shelving in a bathroom closet, where they would have normally held the doors securely shut with padlocks. The phone cable ties are also in my possession. similar to these, but with a rubber loop that slips over the cable to keep it attached and prevent it from getting lost (ingenious!). They're absolutely fantastic! I have a 10-foot charging cable in my kitchen that I fold up into a figure eight, secure with the twist tie that is already attached, and then bend the end of the tie to hang over the handle on a cabinet near the outlet when I'm done for the night - Without having to stow it away in a drawer, you can keep it up and out of the way. I have charging cables in almost every room, and each cable (or group of cables) now has its own tie. These are the kinds of devices that make you wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?" ", and ones that, unlike other clever but ultimately useless gadgety devices that get tossed aside and eventually thrown out or sold at a garage sale, you will actually use and find multiple and even surprising uses for. I can't imagine anyone giving these anything less than five stars, in my opinion.
Then I realized, after using half of them, that I really needed more. Even after purchasing two more packages, I continue to find new applications! I've been looking for these for my entire life, and I'm in love with them!.
I've been looking for these my entire life. These are extremely beneficial. Other Nite Ize products are in my possession. I'm not sure how I missed these. br>br>I purchased a couple of these ties as a gift for a friend who received a Goal Zero 32006 Lighthouse Mico light. I was so enamored with the concept that I purchased some for myself. These ties are ideal for hanging this small light from in order to direct light where it is needed. The ties could be used for a variety of purposes. I'm going to get some more and keep them in my truck, toolbox, camping/hiking equipment, and bugout bag. Exceptionally useful.
These are fantastic! I'm not going to use snappy rubber bands to keep cords together under my desk any longer. I use it to secure my reusable bags to the back of my headrest in the car, to keep my car cellphone charger safe until I need it, and to hang a flower basket on my porch. I keep a couple of smaller ones in my purse because I always find uses for them that I didn't think of until I needed to tie something together, such as the handles of multiple bags or getting to that item that fell between the car seat and the center console. To make a bigger one, they can be twisted together. There were a lot of them.
These rubber twist ties from Nite Ize Gear Tie are fantastic! Two of each of the following sizes are included in this package of reusable, durable twist ties: 3", 6", 12", and 18" are some of the sizes available. Other sizes are available for purchase separately. These twist ties can be used for a variety of purposes around the house, in the office, and on the road. I recently came across them while looking for a way to secure all of the electrical cords in our bathrooms (hair dryers, straighteners, curling irons, Waterpik, and so on). Rubber bands had been my go-to solution, but they were constantly breaking. These Nite Ize Gear Tie twist ties do a fantastic job. They are made in the United States, which I appreciate. The only disadvantage is the cost, which quickly adds up if you have a lot of cords/cables. Regardless, I enjoy them and would recommend them.
They're well-made and simple to operate. They'd be very useful at Burning Man, in my opinion. br>br>I bought them in a zillion different sizes, from the colossal ones for my dad's truck to the tiny ones for me to keep my makeup brushes together in my bag. br>br>All right, let's get started. Darn. Handy!.
